Super directions to the quaint 3 story house with the red door. Quiet and peaceful location, yet within 12 minutes walking distance to the centre of town, partly along the beautiful river. We especially liked the kitchen/dining area. This was after the 3rd flight of stairs and was an incredible surprise as we opened the door to a huge, inviting space. We spent most of our time in the dining area, when not out walking in Durham, drinking coffee or wine as we watched the clouds pass overhead through the skylight windows. The bathrooms were excellent. Everything was better than I had experienced in the Radisson and the Marriott. Having your own kitchen/dining room and 2 pristine bathrooms made this place very special. The owner was very responsive to our email.
