Aynsley Mews is a well presented holiday home located in the vibrant town of Consett in County Durham. Set in a quiet location, within walking distance to great amenities you are ideally placed to have a relaxing break within stunning countryside yet have great access to Durham and Newcastle. This two bedroom home is perfect for small families, couples or groups of friends. Host & Stay are committed to our owners that their homes are protected during bookings. For this reason, we require all of our guests to transfer a Damage Deposit (subject to an administration charge) or, to purchase an Accidental Damage Waiver.

Consett is a vibrant town in North West Durham surrounded by spectacular countryside. The town sits above the rural Derwent Valley, nestled on the edge of the Pennines with many tourist attractions and beauty spots with Durham, the Metro Centre and Newcastle just 20 minutes away. Expansive countryside can be easily accessed in around 10 minutes and a drive across to the Derwent Reservoir is a real joy. This town is a must visit for anyone who loves the great outdoors. You can enjoy long, quiet walks through the countryside. If you’d prefer more activity, the landscape is perfect for energetic hikes and you can also take advantage of a full range of outdoor activities including cycling, fresh water fishing, canoeing, sailing and horse riding. The Coast to Coast (C2C or Sea to Sea) cycle route passes through Consett and is known as the UK’s most popular long-distance cycle route so for those cycling fans you are perfectly placed to enjoy a challenging route. Then when you’ve walked, cycled and explored the town and the countryside, there are plenty of local cafes and eateries to refuel.
