Portpatrick is a quaint seaside village with great access to the outdoors. A good stay, in my opinion, is all down to the weather. Unfortunately the prices in the sea front bars are 'city prices' with a pint of lager coming in at £6.50. Usual prices in the region vary from around £4.00 - £4.50. Our room was spacious , we could sit and relax in the arm chairs enjoying the views from the bay window. The meals were delicious and well cooked and presented. The staff were friendly and looked after all guests we felt very welcomed.
