The location was great, only a few minutes of walking distance to the town center. Free and ample car parking was available. The room and the bathroom were both very clean and nice. The room had all the basic amenities such as a kettle and a Nespresso machine. The bathroom had enough shower gels and shampoo for use, and the towels provided were clean. The communication with the owner was good.

Lingwood Lodge is peacefully located in its own grounds, just 1312 feet from Lake Windermere and the village of Bowness. The guest house features rooms with attached bathroom with free Wi-Fi. All of the spacious double rooms have a kingsize bed, and the larger family rooms have a superking bed. The family rooms can sleep either 3 or 4 guests in single beds. Further activities include climbing to the top of Brantfell, just behind the house, for a breathtaking view of the lake. Windermere Golf Club is just 1 mile away. The lodge offers ample free parking and a garage for bikes.
