Staff were great. Marcus the barman greeted us and made us very welcome, taking our rather heavy case up the stairs for us.
Dinner and breakfast were excellent.

Trip on the ferry to Scolt Head Island was excellent and three minutes walk from The Hero pub.
Burnham Market Village is lovely .
We ate at the Hero - excellent- and also at the Hoste Arms in Burnham Market. Also excellent.
French's chip shop at The Quay in Wells was also excellent. Huge portions!

The pub is in Burnham Overy Staithe, on the salt marshes near the harbour, lovely for walking and relaxing. The Hero pub is so cosy, with fire in the winter, outside tables with harbour views in dry weather. Lovely blankets provided. Everything is very geared to the visitor and their doggy friends. Burnham Market town is 3 miles away lots of lovely individual shops.

Not a large central village area but some nice shops cafes and it is a very picturesque English countryside location. Everything is within easy walking distance. Some shops are on the expensive side. We ate mostly at our Hotel The Hoste which was very nice. The other resturants look good too. Lovely place to visit, quintessentially British.

Very pretty village with some interesting shops - definitely the place to go if you need a hat! But a bit short on places to eat early in the week, it's pretty much closed on Mondays and Tuesdays.

A picturesque village with some independent shops and cafes.
A picturesque village with some independent shops and cafes. We have often stopped here while in North Norfolk, for an ice cream, coffee or food as well as a stroll around the pretty Green. It’s an ideal base for the area but it does have a ‘cache’ which can mean it’s expensive to stay here

Lovely place to visit/stay.
Lovely place to visit/stay. Has some interesting shops and restaurants but would advise booking restaurants beforehand as we couldn’t get booked for any of the ones we wanted. Been coming to this part of Norfolk since 1990 and Burnham Market probably our favourite place. It’s a lot busier now than it used to be and a lot pricier; but well worth it!
Lovely home in Burnham market, the room (double room with en-suite including shower) was very nice- clean and spacious with coffee/tea facilities too. Good breakfast was also provided in the kitchen.
Fiona is lovely and friendly, making sure we were all happy with our rooms when we checked in. Thank you Fiona!!!
The village itself is great with nice pubs/ restaurants and a few shops, also a great base for exploring other areas of Norfolk.
The property was very clean and well-equipped. It was cosy and we liked the provision of a log burner and logs. Surprisingly, the weather was warm for October so we didn’t actually light it! The other heating was by night storage heaters. We liked the basket of goodies and treats that awaited us. The bed was comfortable. Burnham Market is very well situated for access to a wide range of coastal locations and nature reserves.
Fine for an overnight stay. We liked the spacious bedroom, mini fridge in with tea/coffee facilities. Ample wardrobe and seating too. The staff were helpful and friendly. Plenty of good quality toiletries in the bathroom. Generous choices at breakfast, which was well cooked. The hotel is in a handy location for the village and for exploring the area. Plenty of hot water at all times
The breakfast was good with some fresh fruit and a very good choice of cooked breakfast. The honesty bar was a great idea so that you could help yourself at any time. Very nice location - quiet and area outside where you could sit/lie out. Restaurant food was cooked to a high standard. Burnham Market is a nice village to stay near.
Excellent breakfast, Sunday Lunch and Evening Meal. Actually, breakfast was the best meal.
Staying in the Vine House was great - I can't comment on the accommodation in the main hotel.
The location in Burnham market was ideal for our purposes.
The cottage was lovely. It did day it was suitable for 4, but I would say it's better for 2, maybe not 2 adults and 2 teenagers. Burnham Market is a real picture postcard village and close to beautiful beaches and Bircham Windmill.
Comfortable and characterful house. Charming and welcoming host. Very comfortable bed and excellent shower room.
Very good value for money. Well located in Burnham Market.
perfect room, fantastic terrace, breakfast was very good. staff very attentive. Have stayed at The Hoste many times and it is always very comfortable and relaxing.
