Fantastic location on a lovely, quiet residential street. Plenty of parking available and 5 min drive to the city centre. As this is a full house you are renting, you get all the luxuries of being at home. This was perfect for us as we were visiting my son who is a student, so he could come for tea, relax, watch TV, etc, all the things you can't do in a hotel. The house itself was lovely and comfortable and had everything we could need. The tea, coffee, and toiletries were a lovely little extra. Communication with the owner was perfect! He was just at the end of a message, which is how I prefer it, but he answered immediately. It was also self check-in, which I prefer. The beds were lovely and comfy, and it has a nice big bathroom. Tv, WiFi, oven, heating, etc, worked perfectly. I would definitely be looking to book here as my first choice next time I'm in Durham.

Cathedral view is located in a quiet residential park of Durham, overlooking the city with beautiful views. It is roughly a five minute walk into Durham city centre. Durham City Retail Park is roughly a three minute drive by car or fifteen minute walk from the accommodation which contains large retailers including B&M bargains, Argos and Dunelm, as well as MacDonald's, KFC and Starbucks. There are two petrol stations within a one minute drive from the accommodation. There is extensive free on-street parking at the accommodation. This lovely part of Durham city offers easy access to the city centre whilst also offering a comfortable, style and quiet home-from-home experience.
