Otter View is a 2-bedroom terraced property, situated opposite the River Kent in Kendal that comes with a large rear garden and off-street parking for two cars. As the name suggests, playful otters are often seen in the river water opposite. Ground floor comprises the living room with open fire and the modern kitchen leading to the rear garden. Upstairs is two bedrooms, a double and a single as well as the modern shower room with walking shower, basin and illuminating mirror, loo and heated towel rail. Parking for two cars to the rear of the property. Bed linen, towels and services are included.

Windermere 8-miles; Ambleside 13-miles Known as the Gateway to the Lakes, Kendal nestles on the banks of the River Kent with streets branching outward from the central high street. Kendal is well known for its many Yards that are home to residents and shops alike. Perched on the hill, overlooking Kendal is the 12th century Kendal Castle ruins, a popular walking area with great views. The castle is also home to various events throughout the year including the annual kite festival. Kendal provides a great choice of restaurants, bars, many of which serve great real ales, and cafes. The Abbot Hall Art Gallery is popular with visitors and holds portraits by Kendal-born George Romney and works by Turner and Ruskin. The gallery also hosts various exhibitions throughout the year. Kendal itself is ideally placed for exploring South Lakeland, the Yorkshire Dales and beyond. With other attractions such as Kendal Museum and the Museum of Lakeland Life, the fascinating Quaker Tapestry, Lake Windermere and the wider National Park within easy reach, Kendal provides a superb base for a relaxing break.
