Host is very hospitable and just a lovely person. Full Welsh breakfast is made to order and provided a tasty, hearty start to our days, carried us through our hikes. Location is a fantastic base to see the mountains, waterfalls, castles, beaches and gardens. Gorgeous countryside. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We stayed for a week and felt like this was the perfect location to come home each night. Loved exploring Llanrwst and the charity shops within walking distance. We even walked up the bridge and to the castle. The apartment was clean, had every amenity, and was very spacious for our group of 6.

Llanrwst is fairly typical for a Wales town/village before you get into the heart of Snowdonia. Good links into all directions. The bridge of quarrels is amazing, but you need to be able to drive backwards if you have to as it's only one lane and you can't see a car coming from the opposite direction easily. Lovely walk along the river or over a suspension bridge towards Trefriw for a visit to the Woolen Mill there. Also Gwydir Castle is worth a visit, full of peacocks and nicely restored. The New Inn Pub is nice for real ale etc.

Llanrwst was bigger that I imagined with all the facilities...

Llanrwst was bigger that I imagined with all the facilities of of a small town. It was on the edge of most places but would recommend a car. Beware of Llanberis! Go into the town and not the Railway car park if you want refreshments. The railway car park is expensive and refreshement basic/limited. Check on the months as the train does not always go to the top of Snowdon. Ffestiniog rail was fun. Recommend you book but not much there when arrive and the turn round time is short. Barmouth has a lovely beach. Llandudno is a lovely town and nice beach.

Llanrwst is a beautiful town not too far from the coast but lovely for walks. We had lunch at The Tannery and could not recommend it highly enough, brilliant staff and lovely food at very reasonable prices. We went into an amazing wine shop Blas Ar Fwyd where the staff were helpful and knowledgeable and happy to chat. Make sure you take a walk down by the river as it is amazing.

Very comfortable space. Lovely touches from Ceri made me feel welcome, safe and at home. I liked the fact that everything in Llanrwst was easy to reach on foot from this central location. Safe parking right outside the property was convenient and reassuring. I needed to travel to Betws-y-Coed early on Sunday morning and so I particularly appreciated this comfortable, warm bolt-hole where I could rest & recharge on Saturday night before a busy day to follow. Thank you, Ceri.

Four large bedrooms with lovely beds and enough bathrooms and toilets. Very clean and great socialising space. Two families with two adults and two children, plus a dog and there was space (and lots of it) for a baby or toddler in a travel cot. The children loved the layout for hide and seek and it was such an easy walk into Llanrwst centre.
