The room was very comfortable with a balcony which had a lovely view over rolling countryside and the sea was visible in the distance on a clear day. Breakfasts were well cooked and even smaller breakfasts were quite large. The host was very friendly and informative.

The location was very good, short drive to everything we wanted to visit. We didn't have a chance to explore Helston itself though. The house was very clean on arrival, everything was well organized and we could find everything we needed inside. The house was also pre-heated to the comfortable temperature for our arrival. The kitchen also had everything, even tea bags. We couldn't find the sault, but we didn't expect it to be there. The host was very responsive and welcoming, we exchanged messages here on booking.com Loved our experience, will certainly recommend staying there.

The location is very good, though a bit tricky to navigate with the tiny road. It was cool to stay in a converted old mill. Pretty surroundings. Nice host.

It is a great location in the center, 6 min away from Kynance Cove. The helicopter was cosy and warm. When it is windy, it feels like you are being calmed down by the helicopter movement. The hosts are great, love the Ukrainian flag greeting me. The breakfast was yummy and I had plenty of choices being a vegetarian. The shower and toilet were clean.

Helston has a long history, interesting shops and is a good starting point for visiting beaches, geology and ice cream!Since the by-pass, the town centre is safer! Big Salisbury's, Lidl. Access to the Lizard, Porthleven, Praa sands Kynance Cove all within 20 minutes travel.
I stayed at the Premier Inn with its restaurant, car park and spacious room.

The quietude of the space was so right for me. Lizard Peninsula easy to get to and only took a few minutes.
I loved the Llamas and donkey pottering around the site.
Because the property had a balcony and good outdoor furniture. I could sit there and view the sea in the background.

Helston is a lovely little place. There are nice pubs and places to eat, especially the burger place called Boo Koos . A few good shops to peruse, would stay here again as it makes a good base for exploring the area.

I have visited Helston many times and find that the town is suffering from the results of the pandemic and its affect on local businesses. Having said that the area around is still full of interesting places to visit and nice people.

Helston as a town has been left behind. In poor shape.
Helston as a town has been left behind. In poor shape. However, the surrounding area is wonderful. Porthleven, small but very friendly and welcoming.
Location ideal for exploring the St Ives, Penzance, St Michael's Mount, and the coast from Porthleven round to Falmouth. Wonderful memories 💖. Thank you.
Kate and Terry are lovely people that go out of their way to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We arrived a bit late and Kate managed to get us a reservation in a nearby inn for dinner (which was very good, by the way, The Star Inn in Porkellis). We did not bring any rain clothes and on our one walk day it was pouring down. Kate let us borrow her own rain suit, which enabled us to keep to our plans. Breakfast was delicious and freshly cooked by Kate (pancakes, yum). Couldn't have asked for a better place to stay.
Vicky and her husband are great hosts. In the lovely garden she grows all kinds of fruits and berries which she then uses for breakfast or to make fantastic jam. The room is very comfortable, including a small fridge, and has all you need for a relaxed stay. The freshly made breakfast from Vicky every morning is delicious. A big thank you for sharing your jam with us and more important some tips and tricks to improve my home jam making.
I enjoyed a warm welcome with a well-equipped and well-serviced room. There was a very good choice for breakfast, and the food was lovely. Vicki even provided a 'sandwich to go' when I needed an early start for my homeward journey. There was also a very helpful list in the room of good places to eat in the vicinity, most of which were within a short drive. The garden is beautiful, and the location is handy for both Helston and Falmouth.
The property is situated within easy driving distance of Helston and Porthleven. We was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome from Sarah. Nothing was too much trouble for Sarah who helped with advice of local attractions within the area. There was a choice of breakfast. Parking on site was also included. We would recommend Monterey Pines for people who are looking for a homely welcoming guest house.
When I stay at a hotel for work purposes all I want are clean, basic facilities with the usual comforts of a bed, kettle, wifi and a bathroom. This ticked all the boxes for me.
The breakfast contained an excellent array of different fruits, cereals, juices with a menu to choose cooked items from. Unfortunately my appetite and time constraints meant that I couldn't do it justice!
Location was perfect for exploring the whole of Cornwall and was very close to the main routes around. Good local facilities in the nearby town and lots of products provided for us on our arrival to help with our stay.
Heather and Rob were very friendly and were always there to support where needed.
We love the Helston area and the views from the property were fantastic.
I liked the location very central in Helston, a beautiful town.
Great idea to convert the mill, has some charm but needs more maintenance.
The living room was spacious and the host left us everything we needed including a very well equipped kitchen.
Beautiful apartment to stay in, stunning location, quiet but still within walking distance to Helston. The bed was very comfortable with ensuite bathroom, great kitchen and sitting room. It really is a cosy retreat, highly recommended.
The owners and all the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Very clean accommodation, fantastic food both breakfasts and dinner. Very pleased that the hotel has a private car park behind as well as available parking in the square.
Our second stay at this site within 6 months. Perfect for visiting nearby Helston, Porthleven and beaches. Beautiful view over golf course. Clean, modern and spacious accomodation. Warm and a very comfortable bed.
Perfect location in the heart of tranquil St. Keverne. Staff created great atmosphere during the breakfast. Friendly welcome upon arrival. Spacious, clean room
