This is a lovely, spacious house which is beautifully furnished and which has a really luxurious feel. We didn't meet the hosts as had no need, but knew they were on hand if necessary. We were a family group who were in the area in order to attend a funeral but would love to go back on a happier occasion to explore the wider area which has some absolutely stunning countryside.

*IMPORTANT TO NOTE, HOT TUB WILL BE DELIVERED 29TH APRIL** The Chase, is a stunning, modern detached holiday home, located in the peaceful, semi-rural village of Dipton. When staying here you and up to 9 friends and family members, can expect peace and quiet, with beautiful views and scenery, whilst enjoying living in comfort and luxury. When holidaying at The Chase you can look forward to curling up in the large, yet cosy living room and dining area. The huge corner sofa makes it a perfect area to relax and unwind playing board games or catching up with a Netflix binge. Maybe you'd like to cook up a storm in the large modern kitchen or unwind in the beautiful, tiered garden. The paved area just outside of the patio doors has a dining table and lounge sofa and on the top tier is a beautiful outdoor lounge and bar area. The property features 4 beautiful, spacious bedrooms, all complete with flat screen TVs, blackout blinds and furnished with your comfort in mind. We have a projector and projector screen, a karaoke machine, and a darts board available, all of which are free for guests to set up and use at their leisure to make the stay as fun and memorable as possible!
We are SO excited to welcome you to our home, we are passionate about going the extra mile to ensure our guests have a brilliant holiday and create special memories to treasure. Our aim was create a home away from home, where people can relax and unwind from day to day pressures, and to have fun as well! We love nothing more than hosting and bringing smiles to peoples faces. If you have any special requests please get in touch to see what we can do. We know that pets are our family and we treat them as such. Let us know if you're bringing your 4-legged friend and we can have treats at the ready for them too!
Dipton is a quiet and peaceful village, overlooking the stunning Derwentside Valley, but close enough to both Durham and Newcastle City Centre that you can get the best of both worlds. There are beautiful walks just across the road for those wanting a leisurely stroll in the countryside, as well as guests that love hiking. Some of your neighbours during your stay will include Donkeys, Cows, Horses, Pheasants and possibly even some Dear. Only a few minutes walk away you have a selection of restaurants and bars should you wish to stay local. Our two favourites are Don Biagio, an Italian restaurant with some of the best pasta dishes we've had! The owner will make you feel like part of the family the moment you step in the door! And the Owl and Otter, stunning interior and beer garden, overlooking the Valley (they're also dog friendly!) highly recommend checking out their cocktail menu! We are located closeby to Beamish, the historic open-air Museum, which is a brilliant family day out! As is Gibside Hall, Jumbo Jungle, Holmside Park, Adventure Valleyand Diggerland (to name a few).
