Ideally situated on the beach with gate access and views overlooking the Isle of Wight. The property was built in the early 1900s and sits at the top of the slipway looking down onto the beach and all its water activities. The property consists of: - Large kitchen/dining area Lounge with working fireplace Conservatory with large snug sofa overlooking the water Office/games room with large flat screen TV and children's games table. Double sofa bed and single sofa bed King bedroom with ensuite and sea views 2 double bedrooms with sea views and ensuites/bathrooms 1 single room Utility room with washer dryer Hot tub and outdoor seating A fabulous family home & a great location for that mini break
Yas grew up in this house, spending most of her childhood on the beach and partaking in the water-sports. Post university involved a stint working in the local pub (The Osborne View) before moving to London where she now resides with her pooch. Those who help manage the house are all local people so know the area well and if you happen to cross paths can advise on the local area.
The house overlooks a busy Solent waterway with sailing boats, cruise liners and water-sports. It is a beautiful unspoilt area with a local pub (The Osborne View) 50 metres away and a fantastic cafe (Breezes) serving breakfast, lunches and cakes 50m away. A tasty Chinese takeaway (Wah Ying is also opposite the pub. Local sailing club is a short walk down the beach with the nature reserve just past that. Stubbington Village is a 5 minute car drive away & is a quaint village with an all the necessary shops you would want. Portsmouth is a car journey and full of historical and naval sites to visit.
