Approached along a tree-lined driveway filled with wildflowers every Spring, West Mead Cottage simply oozes country charm while combining modern luxuries with extreme practicality. It is the perfect pied-a-terre for walkers, cyclists and dog owners as well as visitors seeking nothing more than a blissfully peaceful break. Morning sunshine floods through the windows of the cottage’s open plan living room where there’s a large comfy leather sofa, flat screen TV (with full Sky package), fully fitted kitchen with eating area, and french doors leading to a seating area with views across fields. The bedroom has a king size bed, an en-suite with a large double walk-in shower, and a large fitted walk-in wardrobe. Everywhere is heated by efficient easy-to-operate electric radiators, plus an electric flame-effect log stove which creates a cosy glow to sit by in the evening. Outside there is a private cobbled courtyard with a decked area hosting a gas barbecue, rattan sofa and drinks table, four-seater table with parasol, and a luxury touch spa hot tub which has ergonomic loungers for deliciously deep immersion.
