The Buttery is quirky and self contained and adjacent to the barn with it's own private access offering cosy comfortable self catering accommodation for two people. Set in the middle of a farm, standing outside the door the views look out to Scafell, the Cumbrian mountains and fields in one direction and up the fell in the other. Accessible and close to Devoke Water, The Buttery is conveniently situated for Ulpha, Seathwaite, Eskdale, Boot, Broughton-in-Furness and the coast. An ideal stay for walking, wild swimming, fishing, cycling, climbing, sightseeing or simply relaxing. Located on a fell with great views in all directions, particularly of Scafell, Crinkle Craggs and Bowfell. Devoke Water is only a ten minute walk away. The Eskdale and Duddon Valleys are only 3 miles either side with a variety of pubs (all dog friendly), with beautiful walks as well as numerous things to do and general sightseeing. Approximately 1 mile from Fell Road, the road ends at the farm about 200 yards further down, so there is no passing traffic other than the farmer who on occasions will pass on his tractor. The location is in the middle of a Cumbrian fell top farm, and being secluded away in the mountains on a clear night offers spectacular views of the nights sky, to only compliment the views in the day. From the front garden, a step then leads to the front door where you enter into the combined lounge, dining and kitchen area with slate floor and oak beams. The lounge features a comfortable sofa for two, a log burning stove, TV, DVD player and Sky TV. Down a half flight of steps leads to the oak floored double bedroom and ensuite bathroom which comprises of a traditional slipper bath, hand basin and WC. The kitchen has a 4 ring gas cooker, oven and grill, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, kettle all the usual utensils and crockery. There is also a pull out dining table with stools. There is access to laundry facilities in the barn should you require use.
