The check in and the wrist bands that opened the rooms was a great feature. The bougalerie cafe (24hrs) was great and the chocolates were great. Need to maybe have gelato also with the ice cream. The bed was very comfortable. The beach was nice and calm sea and soft sand. Location was nice to walk to downtown Ocho Rios. The sign for the resort should be alittle bigger and more closer to the road.

(MY OPINION) Ocho Rios is one of the most beautiful towns in Jamaica. My absolute favorite river in Ocho Rios is Blue Hole.
Nightlife: 8Rivas & Taboo (there may be others, but never been)
Restaurants: There are a lot of great restaurants; some may not be in Ocho Town, but they are worth the drive (Miss T, Plantation, Sharkies, Roxborough, 8Rivas, etc..)
One of the reasons I love Ocho Rios is how easy it is to move about the town freely and safely.

We stayed for four nights.
We stayed for four nights. It is good for us as we went to the market , stores which was walking distance. Friendly people and we felt safe walking in the town. We eat at mongoose restaurant. Really good food and atmosphere. We also eat at island grill and the food is good. Go to the market for coconut water and fresh fruits.

Only saw small parts while being driven to other locations.
Very interesting - but lots of litter.
The saddest was the stray injured and neglected dogs and cats.
As a single traveler one does not wander off on their own in Jamaica.
The Jamaican people are lovely!!
Great food!!

The location was superb, clean, safe and easily accessible.
The location was superb, clean, safe and easily accessible. Waking up to the welcoming site of the ocean could not have been more refreshing, exhilarating, and soothing.
The food was delectable and delicious, freshly prepared and very appetizing.
The friendly, experienced staff made one felt like you were among family. They exhibited and extended all the common courtesies one could have ever expected, this is no acting, or kidding, these are genuinely very hospitable individuals by nature.
Comfortable bed and decent sized room. view of the sea is slightly distant but not a bad view. Carrying luggage up the numerous flights of steps could prove very taxing so it’s good they had someone to help us carry the luggage up and also down when checking out.
We had to check out a bit later than the stipulated time because my wife is pregnant and wasn’t feel well. Staff were accommodating of this.
a food truck comes in the morning to sell authentic Jamaica Breakfast and a few other dishes and drinks.
The hotel was very peaceful. Not a lot of traffic a secluded beachfront. Felt like a true authentic Jamaican experience, if you like that kind of thing , which I do. Was not fancy at all but clean and simple but very very peaceful and charming. The beach front was pretty blue and clear water. Clean sand. Just perfect.
Was able to tour the Cool Blue Hole which was a blast! And more affordable than the Blue Hole tour. There was also rafting near by.
One of the best villas I’ve experienced in Jamaica. Comfortable, location and views were great. Everyone felt at home, Keisha was helpful and always there to respond to questions. The host always responded in a timely manner when I was confused or needed assistance with anything. It was amazing, looking forward to this being a stay for me every time I visit Jamaica!!!!
Awesome location, quiet neighborhood, 15 minutes walking to Ocho Rios Beach, 10-15 minutes to restaurants and shops. Close to a large supermarket. Room was really clean and tidy when we arrived. Ms Norma was waiting us for the check in and process was really smooth. Perfect communication with Aileen providing clear instructions, directions and check-out procedures.
I loved everything about the property. I loved how the apartments were nestled into the cool hills of St. Ann, loved the fact that the property overlooked beautiful ocho Rios, loved the host Gary, who catered to our every need and loved the close proximity of the property to the town of Ocho Rios and loved that there are multiple pools where you can choose.
Beautiful old resort which has a character from the past which I thoroughly enjoyed. Great bed, nice linens, well equipped kitchen was nice to have. Excess to all things Ocho Rios. I had a third floor ocean view which was wonderful. Little balcony. Nice palms trees and well kept grounds. Swimming pool was well cared for. Right beside Knutsford bus station.
I liked the location because I rented a car and as a returning citizen it’s between Ocho Rios and my hometown. I visit Jamaica quite regularly (on average 3x/year) and for the past 10 years I’ve stayed at properties in the Emerald Estate community; however, this was my first time at this particular property and it will be my last.
The view from this condo is amazing and accurate. I woke up excited to see outside. There's a private Walkway and the condo is within minutes to EVERYTHING ocho rios has to offer like, Mystic mountain, dolphin cove and Dunn River. Finally the Hummingbirds are adorable and have a nest next to the back windows.
Cute (1980-90's style), colorful, clean, well furnished studio apartment with a small two seat patio. Don't expect a modern, luxury resort, stay here to experience real Jamaica.
Quiet, non-touristy area.
Couple restaurants and a small market across the street.
Easy on-site parking.
Good value.
We loved everything!!! The hosts are super friendly, and we were well looked after by Miss Janet ( contact person during our stay). The villa is newly built, and EVERTHING was fresh and clean. The kids really enjoyed their stay here. Would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Jamaica.
I stayed for 3 nights and the pictures really don’t show you how pretty this place is.it’s close to everything my room was so pretty and clean amazing view of the beach I can’t wait to come back in December I’m hoping I get the same room or better thank you Jamaica it’s been a pleasure
We had an awesome time in Tina’s Guest house. When we arrived we felt really welcome!
Annet took good care of us and even learned us how to make a real jamaican breakfast. She‘s the best. She can organize everything and is so lovely. We defenetly wanna come back! :)
Top location on the coast, in walking distance to town centre, very friendly and dedicated staff, beautiful gardens, very good restaurant, everything you need available. Authentic Jamaican hotel, not an all-inclusive resort owned by foreign company.
There was no breakfast available. Location was ideal overlooking the town of Ocho Rios. Didn't see much staffing around the place. The grounds was well kept, the pool was ok but the bar area needs maintenance was in a dilapidated condition.
The owner Trevor, and staff were very accommodating. The fact that Trevor lived as a Jamaican-Canadian for 35 years has made for an environment and guesthouse that meets our #canadian expectations. Thank you 💓
Definitely the whole complex of apartments is very pretty and surrounded by gardens, a swimming pool and direct access to one of the main beaches of Ocho Rios. Nice bars outside as well, walking distance.
