Delightful proprietor, friendly service. Lovely breakfast choices. Short walk to restaurants. Our room had everything we needed, including a coffee & tea setup. Lots of room to unpack clothes. Julie was very helpful in suggesting restaurants. Cute, friendly dogs. Updated bathroom was a plus.

this was such a great find and unique experience I got from traveling in New Zealand. very affordable for a group, light breakfast provided. our host Kit was very kind in helping us get set up in our cottage. Make sure to leave time the next morning to do the alpaca tour! this was so so cool and you really get up close to feed and pet them! we even got to hold a baby alpaca. super short drive to Christchurch and the airport for any activities afterwards

Harvey is a great host. Very friendly, and helpful. It was just like being at home, old friends chatting over a beer. The facilities were superb, with everything you could wish for. Great wee place to stay in Kaiapoi. I would stay again if I'm ever back down this way.

Sweet separate apartment with everything needed for a comfortable stay. I was served fresh farm eggs for breakfast and they were delicious! Lots of privacy. Very quiet environment. The hosts are very friendly.

    I really like kaiapoi and I would like to stay there but...

    I really like kaiapoi and I would like to stay there but would definitely stay in another motel I found everyone friendly and found some good Cafés at night I were at the speedway at Woodfordglen that was the reason I stayed in kaiapoi because it was close to the speedway track.

    This is a great location for somewhere to stay if leaving...

    This is a great location for somewhere to stay if leaving Christchurch in the morning or if having arrived in Christchurch in the evening, but not wanting to stay in the city itself. It's about 15km out. Not a lot of eating choices in town - I couldn't eat at the only hotel because every table was in use and/or reserved (on a Wednesday evening) so had to go to the little strip of various takeaway places opposite, where there was plenty of choice

    Loved the friendly welcome and.lovely hospitality. Great to catch up with other guests and chatting with the owners. The garden was such a delight to wonder about in. Just a short trip to Kaiapoi and not too far into Christchurch.
