The new common space makes everything better! I can enjoy the view of the lake and mountains while sipping a hot drink in the morning. The room is also new, too new to keep the door shut properly sometimes. All the staff are friendly and helpful as well!

We were amazed by the location near the lake with clean air, nice ambience in the Hotel Restaurant, with good food! I should have reserved 2 or 3 nights there. We booked 3 rooms all of us enjoyed it. Can swim, water activities and more.

A wholesome town just outside of Queenstown. I could've stayed here weeks. It was a great location to be based at for Roy's Peak Summit, more hiking and days spent by the lake. Bonus activity was a dinner and movie night at Cinema Paradiso. A really lovely town with a very live-able atmosphere.

Wanaka itself is a lovely spot.

Wanaka itself is a lovely spot. It was lovely without being too much of a tourist trap. The art gallery I visited was very good, and the two local restaurants also good and reasonably priced. The staff at the Thai restaurant were especially friendly and helpful. I wish I had stayed long enough to drive out to a few places from Wanaka.

Excellent location and facilities. The kitchen is well equipped and huge. I travelled alone, last minute 2 day trip trip during busy school holiday season. Not many vacancies in town, i decided to stay in private room with ensuite. Big room (#1) with view of Lake Wanaka- clean with large bathroom and separate entrance. Very comfortable. staff were very courteous and helping. New world supermarket, lake and main Ardmore street is 2 mins walk. so convenient

Decent place in the town centre, good price & value but the room could’ve done with some TLC. The heater was broken and there was a space heater but the room was still pretty chilly. Front desk lady was very friendly. Wifi was also pretty good, which was a nice bonus considering all the other places we’ve stayed had pretty shitty wifi. I’d stay here again if I was on a budget but I’d stay elsewhere if you could afford a bit more :)

the room was a good size and the view from the window seat made relaxing there so enjoyable. It was not our first stay, we always look forward to staying with you, the walks along the lake shore are very good, the ambience of the hotel is pleasant. This time we all ate at the restaurant, the menu was good and the staff very welcoming.

Everything about this property is gorgeous from the location, setting and furnishings. It's a really lovely holiday for a family group and a nice change from the usual Wanaka hotel chains. And for nervous drivers, don't worry - it's a simple 20 min drive into beautiful Wanaka.

Spectacular view and enjoy every aspect of lake Hawea. Felt like we were in paradise. Room is a two storey type and we were provided with 5 beds, so you can imagine how generous to its guests. We rate this hotel as 11/10. Highly highly recommended :-) :-) :-)

The rural setting was beautiful. Waking up to SILENCE was FABULOUS !! Unlike staying in a motel or hotel .... there was no-one else to make noise or interrupt your stay .... THAT, made it all wonderful. We would stay again and recommend it to family and friends.

The rooms in the hostel were cosy and affordable, and very clean. There was a minor issue with my room, but it was not the fault of the hotel, and the staff were very quick to address the issue. The bar and restaurant were also very good and modern.
