Nice city, larger than I expected. You need like at least a week to see everything without running from here to there. In the late fall there is heavy fog so you should get there before November. The center is nice but very loud until late at night. I do not recommend getting a hotel or apartment in the very center. Nice shops in the center but also a very big mall is close, at 10-15 minutes of walking. A bus or train links the airport to the city (aprox. 1.5 Euro for the bus 4 Euros for the train).TRIFRomania - Scored 1010

Krakow is an absolutely stunning city. There are many great restaurants, bars, shops and historic sights to see as well and plenty of trips to book. The city is very well preserved and for someone who is not a history fan I loved all of the buildings l, architecture and history of the city. The tours are very popular so book in advance as we could go to Auschwitz but we will have to visit again. On the plus side we saw a lot of Krakow while we were there.AAnonymous - Scored 1010

Wonderful city and people very proud and very nice. Lots to see and do. The concentration camps were very important to me and I saw Krakow concentration camp. There are lovely walks. I felt safe. The food options are good. Entertainment is good. Trains, buses and trams were all excellent. Museums were fabulous. Don't forget the Gestapo HQ Museum, the Aeroplane Museum and the Underground Krakow museum. The mines are great I visited two......Just great! 10 out of 10! I loved it.

Would highly recommend booking tours in advance of your stay as unfortunately couldn't do Schindler's factory or Auschwitz. Very beautiful city with countless numbers of restaurants and bars to try. Kraków is one of my favorite cities to visit.
Kraków is one of my favorite cities to visit. It has everything within walking distance: over a thousand years of history, Wawel Castle and fortifications, legends (e.g., Smok Wawelski), the Hejnal Mariacki, the lecture hall where Copernicus studied at the Collegium Maius before he changed the way people saw the universe, the Sukiennice, the museum at Schindler's Factory, and nearby the salt mine at Wieliczka. Combine all this with wonderful restaurants throughout the Old Town area, the art museum above the Sukiennice and the archaeological museum below it, and friendly people (who speak English quite well) and you have a wonderful experience. Oh yes, and do try the Milkbar Tomasza for an excellent, very affordable, meal.

I love Krakow soo much and Poland ofcourse.
I love Krakow soo much and Poland ofcourse. Rich in history and culture. A lot of old buildings and historical sites has been preserved which is amazing. Also the public transport is very efficient. Though i cant understand the language Polish people are very accomodating and helpful. My time was short but definitely coming back. 😊ma sharonAustralia
