Windows to the outside were very soundproof even though we were in the centre of everything. Nice to hear the hub bub though. The apartment is in a bustling area of the city, full of bars and restaurants and a comfortable walking distance to key sights of the city (Praça Dom Pedro IV, Arco da Rua Augusta, Castelo de São Jorge, etc.) and the sea. This time, we didn't even need to use public transport in Lisbon, just went by feet everywhere. The station where you can take the train to Sintra is also under 10 mins walk away. The cobbled streets and typical houses around provide a charming setting for your stay in the city. The apartment has a stylish interior with everything you need for a few days stay, including AC, hairdryer and kitchenette with fridge and coffee machine. It is also luminous and has enough space to place luggage and other things around. We liked the light options and the key-less doors working with a code. Latter made very easy the check-in and out process which was assisted via messages by a nice collaborator of the owner who also helped us with tips around the city.
