The hostel is not in the "center" of Calheta , but it has a big supermarket very close, a restaurant, and also a beautiful natural pool in a walking distance ( 10-15 mins) . The port is about 20 min walk so if you have heavy luggage better take a taxi. There is a steep climb to do, albeit short. I can recommend to young / fit people, after all it is an hostelMarcoItaly

It’s a 2 stars just because it’s not new neither modern, but the cleanliness and facilities have nothing to envy to a 4 stars hotel. The staff is nice and helpful. Especially the day we checked out they were super helpful with us being all wet after getting rain while driving the scooter ! The breakfast is simple but complete and the food is good. Would definitely recommend
