Hi. We are Alexandra & Pedro. We are brother & sister. We have great pleasure in hosting on our homes. We like to make sure everything is perfect for your holiday and that you feel at home. I like to make your stay is as comfortable as possible. Alex is married and has 3 children. As Alex loves cooking you will find all you need in the Kitchen. But holidays are holidays, and we enjoy relaxing with the kids and avoid most of the house chores. Pedro has travelled the world and now has settled back in Portugal. Neighborhood info

Alfama is the oldest district of Lisbon, spreading on the slope between the São Jorge Castle and the Tejo river. Its name comes from the Arabic Al-hamma, meaning fountains or baths. It includes the freguesias (parishes) of São Miguel, Santo Estêvão, São Vicente de Fora and part of two streets of Freguesia da Sé: Rua do Barão and Rua São João da Praça. It contains many important historical attractions, with many Fado bars and restaurants. The great 1755 Lisbon Earthquake did not destroy the Alfama, which has remained a picturesque labyrinth of narrow streets and small squares. Lately the neighbourhood has been invigorated with the renovation of the old houses and new restaurants where Fado—Portuguese typical melancholy music—can be enjoyed.
