The Literary Man Óbidos Hotel is a unique literary hotel and the biggest in the world. Located next to the Óbidos Castle, this former convent kept its original charm and was converted in to a hotel called Estalagem do Convento in 1965. With 30 rooms, the interiors shows an option of traditional decoration and an eco and modern style. The rooms are equipped with LCD's, heating and air conditioning, free WiFi, and some units offer a mini-bar. It has various international books distributed for all the hotel, a restaurant, a gin bar and a lounge with an antique fireplace. Guests can choose from a literary menu. Óbidos Lagoon is just 3.1 mi away. Caldas da Rainha and Peniche as well as its beaches are a 10-minute drive. Lisbon International Airport is 49 mi away.
