Owner (rarely) lives in a separate studio on the plot or (mostly) on a neighboring campsite. Is immediately available for questions and support. Private use of the swimming pool, outdoor -BBQ, outdoor kitchen, garden and terraces.

Property info

During your stay in this spacious, restful accommodation you will forget all your worries. The silence in this fruit- and wine region is only broken by the singing of the birds. Total privacy, large garden with fruit trees, outdoor BBQ, private parking, outdoor shower by the lovely private pool. Make friends with other guests on the property. Groups of friends (aged 18-26) are not accepted. Family-groups most welcome.

Neighborhood info

Carrascal is a wonderfully quiet hill village in the wine valley of Aljubarrota Alcobaça. Located just 4 km from modern Alcobaça, 12 km from the larger Caldas da Rainha, and .... .... only 14 and 28 km from the world famous (surfing) beaches Nazaré and Peniche. Numerous historic cities within half an hour drive: Caldas da Rainha, Alcobaça, Óbidos, Porto de Mos, Batalha. Within the hour you can visit the pilgrimage town of Fátima, or the cozy Leiria. It is just over an hour drive from Lisbon Airport. Well organized bus services (with Wifi) from Lisbon Airport to Caldas of Nazaré. (see Flixbus, Omio or Busbud). Travel time 1 hour and 10 minutes. I will pick you up in Nazaré or Caldas. I can also pick you up personally at Lisbon airport (for a reasonable fee).
