Host Info

You cannot beat the location and price of this room in a beautiful house! Conveniently located for driving or metro/bus, house is at the corner of a quiet cul de sac. Parking always available with no special permit required. We are on a bus line that takes you to Bethesda or Friendship Heights stations, red line (10 min bus ride). This spacious house has four levels, three shared bathrooms (no waiting). Full access to kitchen, laundry, parking, living room with fireplace, dining room, two recreation rooms with big screen TV, deck, backyard and bike storage room. You can use all the cookware in our fully equipped kitchen. Bedroom includes bed and night stand, wardrobe/closet, dresser, desk and chair, mini-fridge, rug and lamps. It has hardwood floor and windows.
I love to host people from all over the world, speak Spanish and English and have a room available in my four-level house that I would like to rent temporarily. I live in the house and will be available throughout your stay to make sure everything goes smoothly.
This upscale neighborhood is a beautiful oasis of trees and shrubs, close to restaurants, shopping, and entertainment parts of Bethesda/Chevy Chase and DC. With a car, or with very easy access to public transportation, the DC metro area is convenient for our guests. We are also close to our own beautiful recreation area, Merrimack Park, which is unusual for a close-in location. It is an exceedingly safe, hospitable area. House is ideally located very close to Bethesda downtown. Shopping center, restaurants/cafes and grocery stores are 4 minutes drive. * 495 and 270 highways are only 1 mile, 5 minutes drive. * 8-10 minutes drive to NIH, American University, Suburban Hospital, Montgomery Mall, Sibley Hospital. * Bethesda and Friendship Heights stations, red line, are 2 miles, 10 minutes bus ride. * 3 minutes walk to bus stop, 2 blocks away. * 2 bus lines (T2 & 29) run every day and get stations in 7-11 minutes. * Near entrance to Merrimack Park. Rock Creek Park is only 1 mile. Perfect for outdoors lover!
