This is more about the "political" history than the the "Ethnographic history - it covers a lot about broken treaties and cultural representation. There is very little about the life and practices of the Native American nations and particularly the differences between them.
I was fortunate to have joined the free guided "gallery" tour that is offered at 1:30. The guide was very knowledgeable about native American history and she enhanced my appreciation of the historical and cultural displays of the museum.
