The parking situation was horrible. Who's on a small street? The main hotel entry is on the side of a small street. They only have one valet, four million cars. When the valet manager arrived, he was evil and rude. Almost yelling at me when asking him about shuttle transportation to an event. We were attending that night. The only reason we selected this hotel is because it was close to the event. I usually stay at Marriott hotels in Hilton brand. This was a bad experience. There was no such shuttle transportation available from the hotel. We had to ride in a pedestrian golf cart. Who was offering transportation, which seemed very unsafe. I expect so much better for marriott. I will not stay at this hotel again if ever in the jacksonville area.

We enjoyed hanging out in the bar with other guests and patrons who went to the Comedy Show. We talked, laughed and danced until the wee hours of the morning. It was very relaxing for us because we had been riding motorcycles all day and this was the perfect way for us to end our day!

We visited Jacksonville University.
We visited Jacksonville University. It was a very lovely campus. Definitely a school I would want to attend or want my child to attend. We visited Neptune Beach during our stay. Parking can be tricky but when you find your spot the walk down to the beach wasn't bad at all. We got some wonderful photos and enjoyed a nice walk. The area we were in wasn't as cramped and crowded as we thought it would be. We would definitely go back. We are at Ruby Tuesdays next to the hotel. The waiter was a cut up. Lol. The strip where our hotel had many hotels to choose from.

I lived here 20 years ago.
I lived here 20 years ago. It's not the same place, some good/some bad. Traffic is a nightmare on I95 thanks to the never-ending construction that seems to be the bigger problem than what they are trying to fix,

Didnt like too much.
Didnt like too much. We had no hot water after traveling for hours from Florida, had to wait until late at night to shower. Floors were disgusting and so were the doors, nothing was clean and the door was very dirty. I would never recommend anyone to stay there.

We often visit Jacksonville for shows, concerts or football games. We usually stay up near the airport where there are many hotels and it's a short 15 min drive to downtown. The Landings area has dropped many of its restaurants and is not the vibrant center that it once was. Airport area has a huge shopping/dining center (River City Marketplace) with something for everyone. Access to the stadium/Daily's Place, arena and Center for the Performing Arts downtown is easy with plenty of parking.
The location of the hotel is very convenient to the interstate and airport. The beds were very comfortable, the shower was good, and the exhaust fan in the bathroom is very much appreciated. Due to the continuing problems of supply chain and the pandemic, only a bag breakfast was served, but it was very good. Had a hot breakfast sandwich, an orange, granola bar, pastry and a nice cold bottle of water. Given their restrictions, they did an excellent job with the breakfast.
Everything! We loved the vibe of this hotel. It's centrally located to the airport and a lot of dining/shopping options. Many restaurants are walking distance. The staff was welcoming and friendly. The room was spacious and the layout was unique. The lobby has a pool table, bar, and they had karaoke the night we were there. We didn't stay for it but there were a lot of guests participating and it looked like a fun time.
Flawless! Simply the best Motel/Hotel that we have stayed during our so far 4 weeks long trip across the US. Amazing in any respect: From the friendly welcome, over the spacious and fully equipped room, to the generous breakfast - we loved every single minute of our stay. We'll certainly be back. SureStays are on top of our short list from now on!
We were automatically greeted when we walked in and staff was very helpful every step of the way! We are returning to this hotel today after our cruise because we enjoyed our stay before the cruise. I highly recommend Microtel Jacksonville Airport. They more than met our expectations and the room is affordable for the quality.
It was close to the Jaguar stadium so we actually walked back after the game. We were on high alert the closer we got to the hotel (area around it looks like an abandoned industrial area). Hotel was really clean and modern looking. We had issues with the toilet and they responded quickly.
The room was comfortable for what it was worth. I wouldn't spend more than a night here. I needed an affordable room for a one night stay to pick up family from the airport. There is a Waffle House and Longhorn close to the hotel along with plenty of gas stations.
The staff was so nice and helpful. Maintenence was efficient when our toilet tank didn't fill. The room and hotel decorations for Christmas were beautiful. I loved the hot tub and hit breakfast. The balcony was convenient. It was a great holiday stay.
Hotel was much nicer than I expected at the price I paid in terms of the lobby and room. Breakfast was first rate and best I've had in a long time. Plan to come again. (Also convenient to I95.)
I loved everything. The front desk made me feel like family. The hotel was very clean. Cleaning staff was very respectful and courteous. Best place I have EVER stayed in Jacksonville Fl.
The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. All of the staff I encountered were friendly and helpful. I'd stay again if I ever need a downtown Jacksonville hotel.
