Vienna is the epicentre of classical music with ample choices of concerts on a daily basis. Even if you’re not a classical music enthusiast, I would still recommend attending one at the Musikverein as the setting is special. There are high quality museums and royal palaces which are easily accessible by foot if you are staying in the city centre. There are several nice excursions out of the city if you have the time. I would recommend a five day stay for an unhurried experience of the city.

I've visited a few cities this year and this was one of my favourites - I loved Vienna and wish I had booked for longer here - there is a lot to see and it feels calm and safe - the weather was surprisingly good, very dry and warm with no wind - visited the opera to see Carmen which was amazing.

Excellent subway connections, it is worth to visit museums, and palaces and Plachutta Wollzeile restaurant. City is clean, safe and really worth to visit if you would like to feel 19th century clima. Worth to spend one day in ShonBrunn palace, see St. Stephane Cathedral, St. Charles church, eat sasusage in bun and drink very good coffee. Hoffburg and history of Maria Theresa, and Sisi is really impresive.

We also loved strolling in the parks and gardens.

It is a beautiful city with wonderful buildings and a great vibe. Lots of bars and restaurants which are beautifully appointed and have an old world feel about them - waiters with aprons or white jackets anyone? Must do? Yes, Schonbrunn Palace is a must, but better still, but book a recital! We did a Vivaldi evening at Karlskirche which looked like good value and was terrific - you miss out if you don't do it. Public transport is slick, cheap and frequent and getting around is a cinch. Very well worth a visit and I am very glad to have seen it.

Vienna is a bustling city with loads of history and culture. Excellent transit system, simply buy a pass, keep it on your phone, then hop on and off of any bus, tram, or subway anytime with no hassles.
The central city around Stephplatz is way busy, go early and then avoid.

-Location: the hotel is not in the city centre, but it is located around 200 metres from the nearest metro station (4 stops from Schönbrunn palace and 2 stops from the Vienna State Opera: the city centre, the Cathedral, and the most important museums are within walking distance of it)
-Both my room and the common areas were clean and had modern, good-taste forniture in my opinion
-the staff was professional
-the hotel has a nice bar, a restaurant, and a laundry service (I have not tried it though)
-very good value for money

The staff were very kind and excellent in their service.
Although my flight was very early in the morning, they offered me a lunch box to take along to the airport.
The location is easily accessible and is 20minutes walk to the Vienna city centre and 10minutes walk to the train and underground station. There are trams as well within 3minutes walk to the hotel

Location was great. Hotel was situated next to a large train station which has express trains to and from the airport. This made it easy to reach after arriving in Vienna, and easy to leave from the international airport. It was not far from the city centre as well - about 15 to 20mins by tram - which made it easy to visit the attractions.

Very nice hotel to stay in. The staff were very friendly throughout our two day stay. Room was a good size and quiet, which was particularly amazing considering that the hotel is directly across from Vienna's main train station. Very easy access to the city centre via the U-bahn.

Very good breakfast. Although hotel not in city centre very easy to reach. Tram D did take you after a couple of stop straight into the city center. Public transport in Vienna is amazing and very regulary.
