I was given a room on the top floor after being considerately asked if I was afraid of heights (I am not!) and the view was knock-out. Huge floor-to-ceiling windows with a panoramic view of Brisbane stretching all the way out to the mountains. West facing so sunset was spectacular. Those windows continue into the bedroom and make up one of the walls so the views are amazing from both. I was here for a work event and was sick I couldn't spend more time here. Apartment sized rooms with seperate living areas and a study. Staff were friendly and accomodating.

From the minute we walked in to the last day we left we interacted with very friendly staff who made us feel welcome and nothing was too much trouble. From the reception desk to the valet to the restaurant staff. Thank you. We will certainly return.

Take a walk around the riverside, and marvel at the size of the base of the bridge. Also look for the inspirational trees growing on the cliffs of New Farm, and the cool looking cells in the cellars of the old buildings on the City river side. Or take a cheap trip on the ferries.. it's a good way to spend an hour or so.

I got to stay at a hotel right next to story bridge recently and without even knowing the bridge existed i was blown away by how magnificent it looks especially by night. The city of Brisbane has out done itself by its choice to light up the night skies with this pimped out bridge. Almost looks like another city altogether when you compare night and day views.

Didn't climb the Story Bridge but watched it transform at dusk from the riverside at the New Farm River Walk up from Felons Brewing Co. after walking along the river from the Botanic Gardens and stopping along the way at a few places on the Eagle Street Pier - Pig and Whistle :) and the Bavarian :(.

Great location. Unfortunately the view of the story bridge has been largely obscured by a new building but the rest of the river view is great. The gym is good.
I stayed in the Story Bridge Suite which had an excellent view of the Story Bridge. I liked the old-fashioned vibe of the place and enjoyed the buffet breakfast options.
A beautiful quiet stay very close to the Brisbane River, walk to everything, Cat ferry nearby, coffee shops, amazing French bakery 3 min walk (Christian Jacques pastries and breads)
