Definitely go later in the day where it's not packed with a lot of people. I went up to the Sky Pod. It was underwhelming. If you go consider the EdgeWalk that will be a thrill. Otherwise, just enjoy being on top of the city. You can tour the facility in less than an hour.
Last time we did the tower was 1995 - a great many buildings have grown up around the tower since then - great views, was not too busy (we went around 7pm) but would not be so pleasant if very crowded. Easy to get to via public transportation
Told it was hard to get a reservation for dining but being "old" people who like to eat early, we were served in the late afternoon without a reservation. Rotating restaurant gives a fabulous view of the entire metropolitan area.
Don’t go to the top its not that impressive cause of the small windows. Best time to go there ist half an hour befor sunset so you can see Toronto by day, Toronto at sunset and after that Toronto at night... Really beautiful!
I took my husband and little girl to see the CN Tower to relax and eat at the restaurant as I have been here three times over the past 8 years. This is the first time it was closed so it was disappointing that we weren’t told it only opens certain times when we purchased our tickets in the main area. To be able to sit, enjoy dinner and look out the window from th CN Tower would have been a great experience. We stayed an hour in the main area but after that it gets a bit repetitive to just walk around. My 5 year daughter got a bit bored after 45 minutes. There’s a snack area with tables but it’s not the same as to have a nice relaxing dinner after sightseeing. We would have been there at least 2 hours to make our money worth it there if the restaurant was open
Look into combined tickets for the Aquarium and CN tower online. There are exclusive promos for the package. Also, you can leave this trip to the end of your day, since they they open until later, what is not that common for other attractions.
I have stayed at a few apartments in Toronto through booking.com and this was the easiest for check-in and check out. It was also very close to the Exhibition grounds, CN tower/Rogers Centre and aquarium. The area is filled with people walking their dogs who are quite friendly. The security in the building was great. I would definitely book again. The
Got a room with a soaking tub and got a perfect view of the city waterfront facing CN tower and Rogers Centre . Got to park right in front of the hotel for all 3 days . I believe i was the only person on the tenth floor because i didn't hear any doors closing or people talking in the hallways so it was just like living at home .
First time visiting Toronto and The Novotel Toronto was the perfectly located right in the middle of everything you would want to see. Right down the street from St. Lawrence Market, a short walk to the CN Tower and the Distillery District. Staff was very friendly and hotel is tastefully designed.
Location is superb. Cleanliness is really nice. Staff are pleasant & informative. Tickets for CN Tower and Ripleys in the hotel is fantastic. Although Combo tickets like "Sea the Sky", if available, would be nice,
