Hotels near Plaza Itskazú, San José

We had a wonderful night with live music and all sushi you can eat. Then the room was excellent, not a lot of noise and curtains were blackout. Breakfast was great !

Location is the best, restaurants, coffee shops and movie theater are walking distance less than 500m away

Clean, nice facility. Large room, nice gym and bar, patio area. Great location. Safe area. Great staff.

Everything was really nice, and I would love to recommend the service of Mr. MIGUEL ANGEL from the 7th floor breakfast lounge and JHOANA, really Mr. MIGUEL ANGEL inspired me since we was really in love with his job.

The attention to detail from Marco was exceptional

Everything! Beautiful room and facilities are excellent. I was in town for dental work and the entire staff went out of their way to make my stay unforgettable. This will be my hotel when I’m in San Jose. Thank you James, Omar, Liz,Tiffany and all the others that made this a perfect stay! Mucho Gracias amigos

Very large and comfortable beds Clean bathroom Breakfast included, lots of options

Beautiful, unique hotel close to San Jose airport. We stayed one night after a very long flight - the hotel is close to the airport and much more unique and interesting option than a standard airport hotel. The staff was so friendly and accommodating, rooms were comfortable, especially the beds, and the breakfast was also very good. We will stay here again on our way out in one month - highly recommended.

Excelente lugar y el personal atento en todo momento

I am a repeat customer, been coming here for 10 years.

The entire property was immaculately clean and the staff was very polite and friendly

Million dollar view from the 2nd floor, excellent breakfast, and the staff is top notch!

Honestly, what impressed me at first was the smell or lack thereof. Due to having allergies for years my ability to smell is almost non-existent. It is rare for me to smell anything but when I do it is generally non pleasant. Hotels tend to have a certain smell about them that I can detect but do not like. This place was not like that. The only smell I ever noticed was the cleaner that was used for the rooms and I couldn't smell that after a few minutes. I was very pleased about the whole experience. The hotel was exceptionally clean. The staff took their job seriously and did a great job. At night, there was always a security person standing outside the front door. (Polite and would even open the door for you.) This was the location that Uber and taxis would do the pick-up and drop-off of passengers and food. It well light at night and with the security person being right there you never had a second thought about stepping outside regardless of how late it was. I cannot say enough about how friendly and helpful the staff was. Jorge at the front desk was exceptional. Whenever we had questions about locations or places to visit, he always took extra time to visit with us and offer insight. My wife and I wanted to travel to a certain place in the mountains but we didn't like any of the tours that were offered because of times and excessive pricing. Jorge connected us with a driver that took us there, waited and then brought us back. We ended up spending about half what it would have cost us otherwise. I cannot express how much we appreciated all the extra effort Jorge put in to make our stay better. We ate breakfast at the hotel each morning. It was very good and the lady who did the serving was always so pleasant and friendly. My wife wanted me to mention that the atmosphere and decoration was elegant and cozy. If you are going to be in San Jose and need a place to stay, my wife and I highly recommend the Isla Verde Hotel.

I liked the lush garden and artistic whimsy of the communal spaces, lobby, restaurant, and bar. Lots of plants and animals within the common space. The room had air conditioning and was clean and private. I was able to walk to a restaurant for dinner and enjoy the farmers market nearby on Saturday morning.

Excellent staff and professional service

Easy checkin, great location, exceptionally clean, small shared kitchen space, just what I was looking for.

It was clean, Green, quiet and safe. I will highly recommend this place.

I would like to send a huge thanks to the nice and cute maui tattoo lady at the front desk in charge. We had to leave in the middle of the night for the airport and a perfect cereals organized breakfast was delivered to us with such attention to details. I loved that safety was a priority, locks, fence : we found our way to get into the Uber following useful recommendations from her. The gardener was so nice too, beautiful neighborhood houses and gardens, peaceful, ideal to rest before our trip back home. We heard sloth nails slowly walking over our roof, (too heavy to be an iguana) inground pool so nice, a.c. was working. Uber eats and Uber taxi found the place no problems. I will send the Casona del Valle a gift : one for the family luxe 3 beds in the room we had and one for the lady. Pura Vida from Canada xx

Beautiful view, very nice pool, rooms and facilities were clean and comfortable. Delicious complimentary breakfast with vegan options on the morning. Staff was very helpful and made our stay exceptional

Everything exceeded my expectations. Great place, quiet. Beautiful and comfortable furniture, appliances. The place to stay.

The breakfast was very good. We didn’t stay long enough to check out the pool. There was a hot tub too. The staff were fantastic! They are so very familiar with tourist travel they could set up every aspect of the airport transfers as well as understanding tourist’s needs.
