It's a travesty that booking only has this hotel and spa at a 7. But I won't tell anybody for the fear that it might be "found." Loved it and we are well traveled.

Nestled amid acres of private woodland and glorious gardens, this magnificent Grade II listed castle is located on the northern edge of the Lake District, surrounded by a golf club.
