The breakfast was lovely I was welcomed straight away with a lovely fresh pot of tea x the staff were cheerful , smart and friendly x I couldn’t fault anyone x spoke to the chef until my room was ready as I’d arrived early . Had a lovely starter outside in the beer garden then the steak pie for dinner . Lovely fresh food served with smiles and standards . Will be back just for a nice relaxing break . Staff couldn’t do enough , thank you

This place was all about location for us. It is quite convenient to Queen Margaret Station and travelled by train each morning to Edinburgh for walking about the city. Great spot to get to the train and much more affordable than staying in Edinburgh. Friendly staff and very welcoming. It's a basic room and bed. Clean and well maintained.

The staff was super friendly, and helpful. Breakfast was good. Hard working staff. We were able to check in early as we had an early arrival. The hotel staff was wonderful, and did their best job.
