Everything & everyone. It was such a beautiful place. It looks beautifully old & rustic from outside and yet modern in the inside. What a lovely place.

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. A special effort was made to accommodate our late arrival (we arrived after 6pm on New Years Eve, when we had been told in advance that the kitchen would be closing early) and the kitchen provided us with a fabulous platter of ploughmans and fish. Breakfast was delicious too. Thank you!

Breakfast was well cooked and well presented. It was nice that chopped fruit was available in addition to juice, yoghurt, tea/coffee, cereal, toast and full English breakfast.
