Well worth visiting, amazing architecture and there is a museum at No1 The Crescent. Shows what it was like living in the Georgian era and the house is decorated as it would have been in Georgian times. Very in
Try and go earlier in the day to get good photos without too many tour groups! The museum is a great idea, brings to life the era so well. Buy some picnic food and enjoy the gardens in front or visit the lovely hotel and indulge in afternoon tea.
Slightly disappointed at first glance - it looks dirtier and tattier than you imagine from photos.... but you get over that and enjoy the location and views. Number One is definitely well worth a visit.
Stay at the Royal Crescent Hotel and have high tea in the garden if weather allows. Don't forget to bring swimwear! Use the pool and spa after long day of walking. I recommend the fish and chips at the room service menu.
If you are interested in such things, the Georgian House is worth the money, because of its location on one side of the city give yourself a half hour to get there, an hour to explore, and a half hour back
Number 1 is a nice Georgian house furnished as it was in the 18th century. Lots of curiosities, and enthusiastic volunteers in each room. But a bit pricey at 10 pounds. Plan to spend 90 minutes in it.
The location is ideal for exploring Bath by foot - halfway between the Circus & the Royal Crescent. The room was comfortable with a view up the hill. There was ample Yorkshire tea & coffee in the room, which is important as the room was not serviced while we were there - as expected due to covid. We didn't sample breakfast as it wasn't clear that it was provided - but there is a very nice cafe just round the corner which I'd highly recommend (The Green Bird Cafe)
Great location, not far from the Royal Crescent and a short walk into town. The welcome basket was a nice surprise and the toiletries in the bathroom were lovely. The kitchen was great to cook in and was handy having a dishwasher and washing machine There's a small outdoor area which is nice to have a drink in the evening. Would be particularly nice in the summer months. .
A quite nicely furnished room and guesthouse. Located about 5 mins walking distance from the Botanical Gardens and the Royal Crescent, about 15 min from the Roman Baths, and maybe 20 min from Pulteney Bridge. Staff were very nice. Convenient "confidence bar" for late night drinks.
Great location in Bath, walking distance to Roman Baths and the Abbey. Royal Crescent a bit further but still very accessible from a short walk. Hotel is modern and well appointed. Staff were helpful, especially in sorting a mix-up with the room booking.
Location was perfect, close enough to all of the action, but hidden away on a relatively quiet street behind the royal crescent. The apartment was spotless and fitted-out to a very high standard.
