We had a delightful one-night stay at Arcade Beach Hotel during our trip to Sri Lanka, and it was an unforgettable experience. Though a small place, the hotel offers an incredibly cozy and peaceful atmosphere. The best part? The beach is just a short walk away, giving the feeling of having a private seaside retreat all to yourself. A special appreciation goes to Ms. Shashi, our host, who made our stay truly comfortable. From the moment of booking, she maintained great communication, ensuring everything was ready for our arrival. Upon check-in, she personally guided us to the rooms, took note of our breakfast preferences, and made thoughtful arrangements so we could enjoy the morning meal while overlooking the sea. Her kindness and attention to detail created a warm and welcoming experience. If you’re looking for a quiet, scenic stay by the beach with personalized hospitality, Arcade Beach Hotel is a wonderful choice. Highly recommended!

We were welcomed with popsicles when we arrived. Our room was massive, clean and had all the updated appliances. There was a private patio with a sun bed as well. The staff were incredible welcoming, friendly and helpful. They made the bed everyday, sometimes even twice a day, and they had all the mosquito repellents in the room and even replaced the mosquito lamps, incense and more (although we had no issues in the room probably because of that!). Breakfast selection was amazing and delicious. It was also really fun to watch the train go by in the morning during breakfast. Pool was clean and was really nice to dip in to escape the heat. Super convenient location, just walk across the railway tracks and you’re at the beach. There’s 24 hour security to open the gates for you no matter what time you come back. We started our trip here and it has been so hard to live up to those expectations. It is probably the best hotel we’ve ever stayed in.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Sea Rock Villa in Bentota and I can confidently say it was an exceptional experience. From the moment I arrived I was blown away by the stunning location just steps away from the beach with breathtaking views. The place itself was beautifully designed and decorated offering a luxurious and comfortable stay. The rooms were spacious clean and well-appointed with all the amenities one could need. The highlight for me was the balcony overlooking the ocean where I spent many hours just taking in the view and listening to the sound of the waves. But what truly set Sea Rock Villa apart was the amazing staff. From the welcoming and attentive reception to the friendly and helpful team of employees the service was outstanding. Overall I would highly recommend Sea Rock Villa to anvone looking for a luxurious beachfront getaway with exceptional service and breathtaking views. It truly exceeded all my expectations and I can't wait to return.

It is one of the best places we have ever stayed in the world, let alone Sri Lanka! A very hospitable host and his dog Maya took good care of us. Rooms were huge and cozy with very high loft ceilings, you cannot really see that from the photos on the website. Breakfasts were incredible and featured different sorts of fruit, passionfruit included! Also, staying in this property gives you a good discount on surfing lessons on the beach, so me and my cousin rode our first waves. Just perfect, I recommend this place with all my heart and will definitely come back. ❤
