Proximity to everything.. and very clean!

Everything !! Clean with beautiful decor and the rooms are well designed for comfort, pleasant helpful staff, great location, good food at the restaurant and bar. Great location.

The Hay-Adams is an exceptional upscale hotel that meets your every need.

The hotel staff were amazingly kind and helpful. The hotel location is perfect. Also, it's rainy season, the hotel provided free good quality umbrella for customer to use free of charge! And, it's mother's day weekend, the hotel intentionally put a small booth of roses/flowers and cans of beverage in front of the hotel where people/passerby can take for free. These're very nice gesture shown by the hotel for its customers and the community at large.

Great location , friendly staff and very clean

Very clean and lots of security

The rooms are very clean and spacious, the location couldn’t get any better, the breakfast is great but most importantly - the staff is absolutely top notch! Cynthia made us feel the most welcomed and made sure we feel at home. She (and the rest of the staff) was so attentive, nice and helpful and it made our stay just perfect.

Location was perfect for walking to the monuments and museums. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Liked having bottled water and slippers in my room.

The room was excellent and quiet! We especially enjoyed the very creative shower! We never experienced one like it and enjoyed every minute of it!

Had no breakfast during my stay and really cannot give much feedback on that. Location looks so convenient. Room tidiness was excellent.

The customer service was great and everything was walking distance

Area is very central , have a nice pub on the top

Fantastic location. Loved the convenience of the kitchenette.

The breakfast was great and the staff was friendly. The room was exceptionally clean and well equipped. The bed was super comfortable.

Great historic hotel, remodel is lovely, elegant architecture, terrific location, wonderful staff -- folks who have been there for ages and love the hotel and its history. They were delighted to share information on the hotel. Effective, efficient service. Excellent breakfast. Love the carpets, furniture, mixture of gorgeous old lamps, marble and updated upholstery. Terrific paintings. Elegant guests. Well dressed, well mannered, choir singing Christmas carols in the lobby. Gorgeous Christmas decorations. BRAVO!!!

I liked everything about our stay: comfortable bed, friendly staff, 24 h coffee & tea, good breakfast with gluten free bagels, comfortable lounge, small convenience store. Close to the White House and the subway. All good!

I think think was the closest possible place to the White House - very neat, super cozy place - blankets are amazing qualities, such as pillows. Haven’t slept this good for a long time - View to the city / park was also astonishing - Free water bottles in the floor - The whole atmosphere of the building was like you live in your own apartment - On day 17th December 2025 the two ladies were extremely helpful for printing out me shipment documents (I think she is from Etiopia?). Was very nice! We loved her! Had nice conversations.

Best view from PH level, room area.

It was beautiful and the customer service was great

Great location, very clean and excellent customer service. It's a historic hotel that is very charming. Valet parking allows you to have access to your car as needed. Hotel restaurant is very nice.
