I liked everything about my stay in this hotel. The cleanliness, the friendliness of everyone, the breakfast buffet, but we will really miss Mr. Vincent! He was very helpful all the time! Accommodating every request we had, gave us recommendations, patiently help with everything, explaining the city plan… we will miss our stay here. Btw the location is right in the centre and it was amazing. It was super near to the lake and the night market.

The location of the hotel is very good, all major tourist points are walkable. The staff of the hotel was very very courteous and helpful. They went over and above to help you with any of transportation or room needs. Would like to highlight and appreciate two staff for their excellent customer service - Celine, helped us to get the best transportation deals for visits even after we checked out from hotel. Celine ensured the driver and van was available on time and managed language barrier we faced with driver. Dave - helped to safely keep a electronic device which we left behind and kept it safely until we were able to collect it back. Thank you both.

This is an elegant building to see in passing but not worth...

This is an elegant building to see in passing but not worth making a special journey to unless you intend watching a performance there. There are equally elegant if smaller buildings especially in the French Quarter to see of all ages and degrees of shabbiness. Remember when walking around the old quarter of Hanoi to look up as you are avoiding getting run over, to see the real Hanoi above the street level and marvel at the styles, building hot-potch and evidence of former if unregulated buildings and wonder how they manage to stay up.
