- From $155.40 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 1,306 reviewsI had the most amazing room in the hotel part of this resort (#8). It was on the end of the line of beach-front cabins, so had an interrupted view of the sea and the dolphins and the boats. It was right on the beach, so I could hear the ocean at night, and could just walk down to the water when dolphins came by. The room itself was "self-contained" so I had all the dishes I needed, the grill, etc. The room was air-conditioned and very comfortable, and yet also had screens so I could open the doors and enjoy the breeze. I liked the food at the resort, and the coffee/cakes. I enjoyed being near the caravan park, where friends of mine had parked. I had great weather, beautiful sunsets, incredible days and evenings exploring the area. It was an unforgettable week at Monkey Mia.Guest review byStewartHong Kong

Perth is a small, well-organized city replete with friendly folk and plenty of fascinating diversions including Freemantle and the zoo! The city's welcoming inhabitants and tolerant multi-culturalism make it a welcome contrast to overwhelming mega-cities with cranky populations!Guest review byCokerUnited States - 8.0
The historical buildings have been well maintained and are...
The historical buildings have been well maintained and are still used for the most part. This is part due to tourism, part due to usage by University of Notra Dame and sensible decisions by local government which hasn't gone all out on new buildings instead of modify the existing ones. It's also a proud sporting town in terms of the AFL/W. The Wreck museum (free) and Maritime Museum (entrance cost) are highly informative and well presented. The Prison wasn't for us but many people highly recommend their tours. Access from Fremantle to Perth is half an hour by train and you can catch a river trip back along Swan River. Fremantle is the departure point for Whale Watching (Sardine Jetty) and ferries to Rottnest Island. Both are well worth the time and cost. If you enjoy seafood then there are restaurants supplying this in abundance. Eating places generally are good although I would have preferred less deep fried seafood. The layout of Fremantle is relatively straightforward so walking is a good option if you don't want to hire car. We're in our seventies and walked everyday and felt better for it. Think carefully about parking if you want to use Fremantle as a base for longer drives. It wouldn't be exorbitant where we stayed (Be Fremantle) - about $15/day but we were not in high season when I can envisage parking being at a premium.Guest review byDavidAustralia - 8.0

Broome was good, the taxi driver from the airport ripped us off. The hop on off bus wasn’t working, terrible for visitors, perhaps the council should treat visitors with a bit more respect and I am sure it would pay off. We switched taxi providers to 13 cabs and they were terrificGuest review byLeaAustralia - 10.0

Margaret River is a beautiful town. So quaint and welcoming. The forests are amazing and there's such a sense of calm there. Being not far from the stunning coastline, having fabulous food and wineries nearby make it a great place to relax and get back to nature.Guest review byBev SalmonAustralia - 6.0
A nice place to visit for a couple of days.
A nice place to visit for a couple of days. Not a lot to do here . Also nightlife is almost non existent. 2 nights was enough for us . Enjoyed The Anzac Memorial, definitely worth a visit and so was the Old Gaol . The staff at the Gaol were excellent.Guest review byCarolynAustralia - 10.0

Busselton is constantly changing and getting bigger.
Busselton is constantly changing and getting bigger. There are plenty of good restaurants all within the town site. Having said that it holds its country charm and is well worth a visit. We like Tai food and Busselton has a fantastic one. Pub grub no problems there and where we stayed top notch restaurant. It's location allows you to use it a base station like we do and travel out daily to other exciting areas, like Augusta for migration whale watching on a 37ft vessel. Four different types of underground caves which are simply spectacular. Visit the Capes Raptor Centre and see Albie the owl. On your way down you will pas through Cowaramup a country town where there are dozens of full size crafted cows scattered throughout town townsite. Do not miss the bakery there and take the time to wander. In all there are endless activities for all ages down in this region.Guest review byRaymondAustralia - 10.0

Lovely! Clean and the staff in the independent stores were attentive and warm. Great variety of retail and food outlets. Pubs were excellent, we were in Bunbury as we were looking at real estate for our future years!Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Visiting on an overnighter the room was fresh and welcoming. We had a unit out the back with a glimpse of the ocean but still lovely. Small quiet town with a lovely fish and chip shop - would say the best I have ever had !Lovely friendly townsfolk, unfortunately we only stayed the night and didnt have a chance to venture and see the touristy sitesGuest review byAnonymous - 10.0
