We stayed there for 1 week. The hotel is looking new and fresh. Although it is not so big. Location is good for travellers. It's just nearby the central train station. And city center is few minutes walk. The bar is pretty too, but we did not have breakfast there. there was the bar from outside the building.

The Maison flagey is a beautiful building in a neighbourhood of beautiful buildings it stands out. From the front steps you look out onto a lovely pond. On the night we arrived our flight had been delayed 3 hours and we were running late, my phone wouldn't work however the owner was very accommodating. He really made the stay great with a lovely smile and a hello when he sees you, recommending places to eat or drink and nothing seemed like it would be too much hassle. I've been to guesthouses before and when I arrive I'm usually given a large list of rules however this was not like that. He asked that the key be left at the property when we left (the building is secure), gave me the WiFi password and that was that. The rooms itself was large, a nice airy balcony and a comfy bed. The shower was lovely and warm and the facilities were more than fantastic. The area around the guesthouse is worth exploring, close to a large park, a walk around the pond is romantic and down towards the square there are plenty of places to eat and drink.

    Today I returned from the beautiful Brussels and wanted to share my impressions of the Hotel City Center. We stayed for 4 nights with a 7 year old child. First of all, the breakfast is wonderful. There are several types of cheeses, sausages, yogurts, vegetables, etc. The hotel is VERY close to the center. No need to take a taxi or public transportation to see the main attractions of the city. The rooms at the hotel are very comfortable and clean. They have everything you need to stay in the Hotel. The room was cleaned daily. The internet connection is very good. I worked and had great video chatting with my colleagues all over the world via Teams. I really advise you to choose the Hotel City Center!

    This hotel was exceptional! The location couldn’t be better: one block from the Grand-Place and one block from Mannekin Pis, and near stores and restaurants, just perfect to walk around. The room was really comfortable, king size beds are not easy to fin in Europe. Good size, super clean, fluffy pillows, modern barhroom etc The staff was extra helpful, the concierge super nice!! Beautiful decor, delicious restaurant Bocconi and the bar was a nice place to have a drink surrounded by celebrity pictures who had been there. Loved this hotel!

    Very pedestrian friendly, but the city needs better signage, especially from a seniors perspective..not everyone can navigate the city by phone, and even if you could better sign would help..eg I could not find one sign for the Toot bus, because it was so hidden on the regular bus stop, who could tell?

    Ibis Hotel Brussels Centre Midi is very close to Railway Station. We had tea at a restaurant on the other side of the railway station, as we couldn't find anything that we fancied around the hotel. You can't park cars around the railway station on Saturday nights as they have a street market on Sunday Morning and the Police remove any cars parked where the street market is held. It wasn't really that clear where parking wasn't allowed, which we didn't need to clarify, as we arrived and departed by train. Enjoyed what we saw of Brussels.
