Weymouth and surrounding area are great places to visit with something for nearly everyone, from sitting around on the beach, or going to the Sea life centre in Weymouth to visiting pirates graves or the D Day museum on Portland. There is also nearby Monkey World, The Tank Museum and the Nothe fort. And there are some great places to eat .Guest review byRon ButlerUnited Kingdom - 10.0

It it well served with different museums and the Tutankhamun and Terracotta Army ones are a definite visit for me. There are also plenty of cafes to have some amazing food.Guest review byAnnetteUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Swanage is a lovely is a traditional seaside town, with a long safe, clean beach and promenade. The shops consist of lots of fish and chip shops, gift shops and the usual amusement arcade found in traditional seaside towns. There is a steam railway situated right inside the town, as well as coastal walks.Guest review byPAULA - 10.0

Naturally beautiful place, very clean for being a busy little seaside town. Loads of lovely cool little shops and arts and crafts. Great variety of cafes and restaurants. Culture and history with Jurassic coast etc. Great spot. And great little mini aquarium. There are a lot of hills, bear this in mind. And windy streets that can result in bit of traffic congestion. But this is mostly no problem if stay near the beach.Guest review byMariaIreland - 10.0

Sherborne is a vibrant village with many independent shops , gallery, antiques, bookshop, artisan and craft venues. A plethora of eating venues of all types. Beautiful old buildings ,some dating back to the 14c and beyond. Although small ,the area is stuffed with interest and a week or two is not too long for an interesting stayGuest review byssssss - 10.0

Blandford Forum had a lovely park with a large waterlily pond (would be so amazing to visit this in May or whenever the lilies flower!) and a pleasant river walk . The town had a nice place to have a drink (The Crown Hotel) and a Morrisons which was convenient as well as some coffee shops and small unusual shops. There were some lovely charity shops and the town was a welcome refuge from the more busier places we could have visited. I went to the fashion museum. It was a pleasant small town.Guest review byMagentaUnited Kingdom - 8.0

So the marina area is very nice.
So the marina area is very nice. You have lots of paddle board and kayak activity from leisure centre and beach next to the castle. The pub life around the area is okay if you like that sort of thing. I liked the beehive bakery for bread in unit 3. Also they have a cafe and the price is just right. Went to Portland Bill - had salmon at the Lobster Pot. Walked around the stoney cliffs. A great place to experienceGuest review byChristyUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Lulwort Cove beach is pebbled with beautifully clean water.
Lulwort Cove beach is pebbled with beautifully clean water. There are sauna facilities and a range of water sports available, allowing you to independently explore the stunning coastline or enjoy a boat trip to Durdle Door. Both the beach and the village are kept exceptionally clean thanks to the efforts of local volunteers, who work hard to preserve the area's natural beauty for all to enjoy.Guest review byAnonymousUnited Kingdom
