Dundee is a beautiful place by the sea. We went to the Verdant Jute Mill which is a must see!!! We ate supper at Malmaison and stayed there too. This was a perfect location as it was close to the water, the beautiful ship and the train station. The food was fantastic!!!Guest review byIreneCanada - 2.0

A small quiet town but where you can find all you need within walking distance. From there we had the chance to visit on foot, the Dewars Aberfeldy whisky distillery, which was very convenient. There was a good choice of restaurants too.Guest review byRomaine - 8.0

It is an extremelly picturesque and in parts quaint town! It does have its own railway station, and a very good bus service! The Hermitage is a MUST SEE! In Burnam, (Mentioned in Macbeth) the walks are superb through the Glen, and the Beatrix Potter gardens are a must see also.Guest review byRoyUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Crieff is a perfect base for getting out and about to surrounding places of interest. Definitely need a car to travel. The high street pavements are really in need of repairs so we had to be vigilant when walking through town. Not great for people with walking disabilities. Very hilly too.The Ghurcah Indian restaurant was excellent ,,value for money with huge portions that we had to take with us. Quality was amazing.Guest review byElizabethUnited Kingdom - 10.0

We normally stay in St Andrews when on a short break in the area. Carnoustie golf Hotel is more than a match for most St Andrews hotels. The town on the other hand is a long way short when it comes to restaurants and shops compared with St Andrews. If you are staying 1 or 2 nights then I would definitely recommend Carnoustie golf Hotel.Guest review byGerrUnited Kingdom
