This was one of the nicest hotels I’ve ever stayed in! The room was beautiful and kept spotlessly clean. The breakfast was fresh and delicious, with a wide range of options. The staff were very kind and the location is central, but when I stayed (November) I didn’t notice any noise, even though the room faced the street.

Location was close to city- about 10 minutes by taxi or 35 minutes on foot. Hotel is brand new - everything is in pristine condition. Breakfast was amazing- bacon, eggs, spinach pies, cakes and so much more ! Staff and owners are lovely! So helpful. Great shower pressure. Pet friendly too. I'd stay here again. I can't over state how hospitable and accommodating they are here. Restaurants around the hotel too.

Beautiful apartment with super comfy bed and great shower. Reception staff were lovely and so helpful. The pool was nice and shaded (though this meant it never got warm!), a great quiet space in the middle of the city.

We booked Knossos beach resort based on reviews, photos and the amazing packaged it offered. It exceeded all our expectations!! From the moment we arrived, we were offered a complimentary room upgrade along with our beach cabana. The staff couldn't do enough to make sure we were well looked after! We arrived early, early check in was not a problem. We well full inclusive for the entire stay (3 nights) and we didn't spend a penny!! Everything is included; amazing buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner at a very high quality, new food every day, always so fresh with great attention to detail, all our our snacks and drinks by the beach delivered right to our beach cabana were also included (cocktails, beer, food etc). We had wonderful massages in the spa area, we chose to eat in one of the restaurants (not included) for a special meal, you are given a discount and the food was incredible and very reasonably priced!! On our last day, our flight wasn't until 10pm, the hotel allowed us to stay until 6pm with an extra charge of €30, and we kept our all inclusive bands and cabana all day. Honestly, this place was truly so special, amazing sandy beaches, pure clean water, no noise, so quiet, no loud music, tranquil, clean, friendly and the most amazing greek food!! We will be back, it was one of the most relaxing stays I've ever had. Huge than you to Harris who went above and beyond to look after us!! The lovely waitress, Maria waitress, Dimitris beach bar manager, and wonderful massages from Evalina Spa. To the chef, we particularly enjoyed our buffet lunches! If you are thinking about booking - don't, just do it, you won't be disappointed! Karen and Ed

The hotel is super comfortable. It has everything you need for a great holiday with the kids. The water park is suitable for all ages even adults. The food was superb in all the restaurants and bars of the hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. In a personal note for me being a single mom with two children it can be very hard to go on this holidays and this was the first time I was really happy because the Arina had everything we needed.

Kind and helpful staff and great animators! The pools are very nice and clean and the water park is great, including a big variety of slides and a long lazy river. The beach is beautiful, sandy and very long, perfect for families with children. The food is delicious in all the restaurants, but my personal favorites are the asian restaurant and the wok bar on the beach.

It was about a ten minutes walk uphill part way to Koutouloufari, loads of restaurants and bars, a fabulous experience. Walk a little further and you come to Piscopiano, also excellent. Walk down the hill and you come to restaurants with Greek dancing and plate smashing, also excellent.

So easy to find the lock box. Directions is so easy to follow. The balcony is nice but didn't use it. Sleep through the night. Bought some souvenir (food) from the local market steps away from the apartment. Hot water after waiting for 30 minutes because it was a gloomy day. Feel safe walking at night.

Vicky, the hostess, is warm and attentive and does her best to accommodate guests’ requests. The entire team is friendly and helpful. All dishes are freshly prepared and well suited to our tastes. Agia Pelagia, has some great hotels.

Agia Pelagia, has some great hotels. The beaches are nice, but it is almost impossible to find a parking space close by and the roads and amenities are very BAD. Overcrowded and overburdened as it is, the best choice is not to endeavor beyond your hotel, unless you are ready for a lot of strain and confusion. If you got a car, the best option is to visit other beaches beyond Agia Pelagia.

People were lovely. Amoudara is very close to the airport. The beaches are amazing. A few of the beachbars/restaurants allow you to use their sunbeds foc as long as you eat and drink there. Booking excursions/trips and sightseeing is very easy. Restaurants/bars mainly run along the main strip. Although there are quite a few down side streets.

Matala is a colorful, beautiful, and lively little town with a great atmosphere. It is perfect for beach days and a good starting point for day trips to nearby museums and archaeological sites. There is a huge selection of good restaurants. It is a good idea to arrive by car if you want to go on lots of trips and be independent. However, there are also bus connections, e.g. to Heraklion.

A quiet area, but the beach close by is not the best (still ok if you wanna just refresh a bit) and you need the car if you want to see and explore more (even in the surroundings). There are buses, though, to move to/from major points of interest. The location I chose (Kri-Kri Village) was perfect and I had the best time! Extremely relaxing, chill vibe and you can reach great beaches not far. Suggested!

We stayed at Kato Gouves which is slightly out of Gouves.

We stayed at Kato Gouves which is slightly out of Gouves. There are some lovely restaurants and taverna's. We've been many times and like to walk to the beach at Analipsi where there is plenty space.

Karteros is a convenient location, especially because it’s close to the airport. The beach has some organized areas with sunbeds, but it gets very busy during the summer peak season, particularly on Sundays when many locals also head to the beaches. The sunbeds tend to get taken quickly, so if you miss out, you can still relax on the sand—but bringing your own umbrella is a good idea for some shade.
