We had a great stay at the hotel , once we found reception , service was amazing. Very friendly and helpful staff. Loved our room very comfortable , and liked set up for a quite small space. Great location for bar , breakfast was really lovely , very fresh and ample choice. The gardens around the pool were beautiful , great idea as it hides the high rise in the background. Yes we would stay again if coming to Hong Kong , very close to airport.

The location is quite nice in terms of view. The balcony overlooks the harbor and at night the lights are beautiful, but not obtrusively bright. We’re from California, I surprised my girlfriend with an international proposal in Hong Kong. This hotel was the first of few that we stayed during the trip. Prior to arrival, I was able to talk with the guest service staff via “WhatsApp” and coordinate a room decoration surprise for her after I popped the question in Nan Lian Garden. They were incredible in helping ensure that aspect went smooth, with so great touches. I made a few detailed requests and each one was delivered just as intended. That was top notch and I thank them for the help.

People are really friendly the gallery n science museum are fantastic. Loved the harbour side promenade . Saddened there are soooooo many shops n restaurants that are common all over the world. Makes shopping boring. The famous Temple Street Markets long gone n looked desolate. Hong Kong has no identity of its own. Where's your individuality? Ya got little copies of bits and pieces of architecture, shops and franchise restaurants n cafes from all over the world. So what is Hong Kong? I still couldn't tell you.

The city is a bustling metropolis full of stores, restaurants, galleries, glorious old old trees line streets. It's remarkably clean and functional. I would like to be able to access gluten free cafes and restaurants but we did find that fun and an adventure in itself. The science museum is excellent and the gallery. OMG the accessibility of the city is impressive and the PEOPLE are soooo friendly courteous and helpful.

It was good as so many people spoke English and fairly easy to get round, but after living in China for past 4 months, the place didn't seem as clean or well organised, Still lots of shanty looking areas in between the luxury shops and apartments and people sleepingon the streets, which we don't see in China. The ferry trips are worth while and inexpensive and there's some great shopping malls and amazing walkways. It reminded me a bit about scenes from the movie 'Blade Runnr', as we were there during rainstorms and a passing typhoon.
