I recently stayed at Sebali Resort in Ubud, Bali, and it was an unforgettable experience from start to finish. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted warmly by the hosts in the lobby. Special thanks to Epita, Apri, and the young lady who assisted me during my flower pool photoshoot—you all made my stay so much more special. The full-body massage included in my stay, expertly provided by Elo, was a wonderful touch that added to the relaxation. Every request I made was met with exceptional attention to detail, and I never once felt like a bother. The room exceeded my expectations, with a stunning view overlooking the jungle. It truly felt like my own peaceful bubble—exactly the experience I was looking for. If you're after a serene escape, booking a villa is absolutely worth it. The food was another highlight! Every dish I had was incredible, and having breakfast included with my stay was a thoughtful addition that made starting each day effortless. (You can find my full review of the Air Café & Lounge on their TripAdvisor page!) To top it all off, my yoga session with instructor Putu left me feeling more peaceful and centered than when I began. It was a perfect way to round out my stay and really embrace the tranquil environment. Overall, I highly recommend Sebali Resort. The stunning location, attentive staff, and excellent amenities make it an incredible getaway. I’m already looking forward to my next visit!

It was in an awesome location, and I loved waking up to a balcony facing a verdant garden. The staff were all so kind and genuine, and the breakfast team always helped me start off a great day over a delicious breakfast. The rooms were spacious and the materials/furniture were all of high quality. I also loved the huge bathtub and the yoga studio space upstairs and the pool and garden were so beautifully designed, I wish I had more time to stay and enjoy this gem of a resort!

The room was spacious, comfortable, clean, quiet and beautifully designed. Comfortable bed and nice little verandah. The view to the jungle was spectacular and we enjoyed the nature sounds very much. We very much appreciated the complimentary services of the hotel, such as the afternoon tea at the bar with a beautiful view and a 15 minutes welcome spa treatment that was exceptionally good. We enjoyed good food and drinks at the restaurant. The staff is exceptional ! Would definitely come and stay there again!

The staff at Sapodilla went of their way to make my stay enjoyable. The personalised service, generosity and warm conversations made me feel at home. The beautiful pool is surrounded by peaceful gardens and the location of the property is excellent for exploring Ubud. The room was excellent and luxurious for the price point. The property is situated on a key tourism street with lots of nice bars and restaurants within walking distance, and still provides some tranquility away from the more hectic old Ubud centre. A perfect experience - I can't think of one thing wrong with the place.

    Hit the jackpot booking this hotel. Very good food. Staff were very helpful and kind. Room was clean and comfortable and extremely good value. Glad I didn’t book a room with a pool since the main pool was big and never too busy. Spa services were exceptional. Close proximity to everything in Ubud via bike or taxi which are very cheap. We ended up staying at this hotel the whole time and travelled round the island from there which didn’t prove to be an issue. About an hours drive to most places. The highlight aside from the staff was definitely the view every morning waking up to a forest of palm trees which also meant it was always peaceful and quiet.

    Wonderful location overlooking the Tjampuhan Valley, having your own pool, a beautiful garden, a spacious villa, a home away from home! The staff was exceptionally looking after us and fulfilled all wishes. The menu for breakfast and dinner had a great selection of Indonesian and Western dishes (best Mie Goreng!!). You find total relaxation by having a massage which was exceptional as well, or just absorb the true Bali spirit. We experienced a special dinner by candlelight and Gamelan Music, what a special evening this was! We stayed many times at the Resort, and no doubt we will be back! A big thank you to all the staff at Pita Maha!

    Ubud has so much to offer it should be visited at least once. Centre of art and culture, health centres, beautiful restaurants, and wonderful views. The only negative is that you have to be prepared for heavy traffic, getting around can take time.

    It is remote location with not much accessibility to shopping, restaurants, and other activities. Recommended for people who prefer calm and quiet area and has vehicle for commutation. No spas available nearby, need to go to Ubud center.

    There are quite a few places to stay in the area. High end ones like Kommune and Desa Swan Villas are incredible but some of the more budget ones are almost as good. Make sure you eat at one of the beachside warungs. Great quality, freshly cooked food at amzing prices. You might get a bonus duck parade if you time it right!

    It's a lovely area much quieter than Ubud but still lots of cafes etc. The Instagrammers taking selfies is a bit over the top...but they're everywhere. Great views of the rice terraces and beautiful waterfalls and temples in the area.

    The beautiful areas of Sukawati require a car/driver. We went to the art market which was nice, but you could get this art anywhere in Bali for the same price. I hadn't been before and wouldn't stay here again, it's a bit 'commercial' and not tailored to tourists. The villas we stayed in were beautiful, quiet and off the main street, but there was nothing to do (other than get a driver).

    Beautiful sea view, near to sanur, denpasar, and ubud, but beach has plastic and wooden trash. During rainy season, moths come out every where outside and inside villa. Kitchen is separate from the villa, overall, villa needs upgrade.

    Far too busy and hectic!

    Far too busy and hectic! Ask people before you go, this place is nothing like it used to be, overpriced, WAY too many tourists, you're paying OZ prices for everything! Hours of traffic to get around.

    Fresh air, rice terraces, Balinese people are very friendly and courteous. Nature, vegatation, forest.. waterfalls and temples. My husband and I stayed at Aksari Ubud Resort & Spa … this place is my personal version of paradise. Staff were very cordial… they aim to please … the resort has great amenities and awesome infinity pools. The entire place has wifi, room has smart TV with Netflix, the resort is clean and very well maintained and smells like aromatherapy (spa) with “zen” music..,
