- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Excellent - What previous guests thought, 92 reviewsThe hotel garden was incredible and the whole setting picture perfect! A generous breakfast was provided on a lovely piazzetta under the trees, the menu and wine list at the restaurant were very good, the bars and the pool/sea area were all generously setup. The golf cart provided was most useful given how the hotel is set on the side of the mountain and climbing between levels can be quite taxing. Most importantly, the entire staff but especially the golf cart driver and the restaurant staff, were extremely helpful and courteous.Guest review byDeborahItaly
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very Good - What previous guests thought, 180 reviewsFamily friendly, clean, walk down to the sea or enjoy the excellent waterpark , great way to wind down with the kids post sightseeing through Rome, Florence and Tuscany. Under 1 hour drive to Fiumicino. Friendly staff, full of Italian families enjoying a holiday, between pool, sea, beach and big play park kids had a blast. Restaurant and snack bars and store on site. Plenty of little restaurants in town up the street. Cabins are clean and great for a short stay.Guest review byChrisCanada

Having a balcony overlooking the sea was calming and beautiful even though it was a little windy. All of the staff members were helpful and kind. The breakfast had a huge variety. Overcrowded and overpriced — it feels like the Italian government and the EU only care about squeezing money out of tourists. Every attraction is oversold, packed with people, and poorly managed. Even our local guide was frustrated with how things are run.Guest review byTianUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Large spacious room with large light filled modern bathroom and great variety of breakfast food. Luana & Petro were so kind and hospitable even walking me to an ATM and the local Pizzeria Galleria a few metres down the road. Home is close to beach. Having a cash driver affiliated to their lovely home is so useful and helpful. Highly recommend staying here each time in RomaGuest review byMemoryAustralia - 6.0

There is no easy walking access to the cruise port or terminals, you will have to book a taxi OR take a bus from the train station to the port (40e). It is confusing and not well detailed by the cruise companies - do your research. Taxi from the train station to an apartment is equally a hassle (30e minimum).Guest review byAlanUnited States - 10.0

A lovely mostly little undiscovered medieval town. It’s only small but very cute with lots of restaurants and an attractive cathedral and papal palace. Easily walkable and not very far from Rome. Mostly quiet except on weekendsGuest review bycatherineAustralia - 10.0

Gaeta is a lovely beach town that sits half between Rome and Naples. The beach is flat white sand and superb for swimmers of all ages. Crystal clear waters awaits you. Gaeta is split in two. The old town near the Port and the newer town on Serapo Beach. Its a perfect place for a summer holidayGuest review byPaulineAustralia - 10.0

Beyond gorgeous. It’s a dream vacation spot and easily travelled by electric bike to all the beaches. Mostly Italian tourists which made it seem much more chilled out than other beach spots in Italy. Highly recommendGuest review byKristinaUnited States - 8.0

It safe to walk at night, the ocean breeze is awesome, the pavement needs to be fixed, rolling a suitcase was not fun. getting there took sometime past nine pm on a friday night no more train.....when the busses was packed, Everything else in Lido di Ostia is awesome, everyone should visit.Guest review byAnonymousCanada - 10.0
We were in Terracina the last two weeks of June.
We were in Terracina the last two weeks of June. We experienced a local feel with few tourists. the old town is fantastic. We rented electric bikes, which is recommended. Then you can get around easily. A trip up to the temple went like a dream in the heat. We also cycled out to the Cantina Sant'Andrea winery. It took approx. one hour one way. A wonderful trip and a great visit where we tasted many good wines. One should also enter a trip to Ponza. The ferry departs from the city centre. An incredibly cozy island. We chose to rent a boat when we were out there, so that we could take a trip to the outside of the island and swim in the crystal clear water. It was magical! We only took a day trip, but we should have included an overnight stay at Ponza.Guest review byKnut IvarNorway - 10.0

Villa d’Este was amazing and had waterfalls to rival Palace of Versailles. The walk through Villa Gregoriana gardens down the side of the hill to the bottom of the waterfalls was a solid hike and not for the feeble. Definitely take a couple of hours to visit Hadrian’s Villa (aka Villa Adriana) which had amazing historical half crumbling palace and ornamental lake.Guest review bySharee F.Australia - 10.0
Easy to navigate once familiar with signage.
Easy to navigate once familiar with signage. Felt maybe there could have been more available buses however taxis were prompt up to between 7-8 pm in the evening only. There was no available persons to chat with at the railway station which impacted on plans to visit other places of interest. The highlight of our visit was Montecassino Abby , steeped in history of the world war it was Amazing , my second visit there in 2 years bringing a friend along who’s Polish father fought in the war!! The war memorial was breathtaking to witness as was the commonwealth memorials.Guest review byAnonymous
