- From $200.84 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 324 reviewsThe resort is situated in a beautiful location with volcanoe , Mt Etna always in one’s view. The hotel and golf course are worth the some what stressful drive up to it’s location. Hotel staff were professional, friendly, and caring to guests needs. Food was delicious with reasonable rates. Room with a breathe taking view of a plush vineyard. Ok the golf course. Great staff. Course is in great shape. Greens hard and fast. Fairways mostly narrow bordered by old in bloom leaves. Very little water. Only issue of concern was that fact of two free roaming dogs which I saw running on the back nine. Golf staff assured me both friendly farm dogs. I highly recommend the hotel and golf course.Guest review byBruanUnited States
- From $357.81 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 459 reviewsI cannot rate this hotel and it's staff high enough. From the moment we arrived the staff could not do enough to help us. I have never experienced a hotel with calibre of staff. The hotel reception and terrace is lovely as are the rooms, beds are very comfortable. The beach is beautiful, with lovely clear water and we were the only ones on there for my morning swim. Unfortunately we only stayed one night at this hotel but I would definately come back for a longer holiday.Guest review bySallyUnited Kingdom

Great number of historical sites of various eras, many nice parks and horticultural places, street traffic is classical Sicily style (😄), however famous street food district is not to my taste (too messy, dirty, dubious freshness..)Guest review byAlbinaSlovenia - 10.0

Loved the city, especially nice staying somewhere away from the tourist centre, but still close enough to walk to places.( 5min walk to Via etna) Especially enjoyed the Catania football match vs Monopoli. Great crowd, family atmosphere. Went to ground to get tickets before the match as couldn’t work out how to get them any other way.well worth the effortGuest review byAnnUnited Kingdom - 10.0

I love Ortigia which is why I took a coworker there who is just exploring Sicily for the first time. For sunset you walk to the western side of the island but you can find many good places for a cold drink and to watch the sun set. A short boat and bus tour added a new experience. There's a lot of great dining on Ortigia and it is hard to go wrong.Guest review byfrequent pngUnited States - 6.0

It has beautiful surrounds but has way too many tourists and is over populated. It’s actually unpleasant with so many hoards pushing their way through the old town. The service provided by the staff across Taormina was very rude, full of attitude and arrogant. So many better places in the world to spend your hard earned cash and have better value for money… way overpriced for what you get.Guest review byArthurAustralia - 10.0
A charming city with great restaurants and sights.
A charming city with great restaurants and sights. It was just very crowded in August. We had the best meal at 22 Cucina Isolana recommended by our hotel. for a less crowded beach area, we walked to the other end of the beach and spent a day at Lido EoloGuest review byNataliaUnited States - 8.0

I love both beaches and lively city centers at the same time and Trapani can offer that. A perfect cable car trip directly from Trapani to historic Erice. A beautiful sunset and a view of the illuminated Trapani. Interesting places in the vicinity: Segesta and Selinunte archeological parks, the very unusual Nuova Gibellina (plus Cretto di Buri) and bustling Palermo with majestic monuments. There are plenty of great restaurants in Trapani. I can't miss the Meno Tredici gelateria in the harbor and the great arancini at Al Pollero da Roberto.Guest review byMiroslavCzech Republic - 8.0

Indications for people who driving there are poor, I was lost, I pass in front the entrance without realizing it, poor indicators. I stop and I find another car lost too. The car parking too expensive, the entrance tickets expensive, I went really early before there were too many people, I was able to take selfies for the more important monuments without any wait line. You must be ready with plenty of water, if you are going in summer time because its a really long walk under very strong summer lights. I guess you must see it at least once on your life, like everything relevant from our pass times. Obviously I am a simply tourist without knowledge about architecture. For those that understand I am sure must be fascinating.Guest review byencarniUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Beautiful town, full of life at night.
Beautiful town, full of life at night. Easily walkable, flat streets. Beach is nice and long, with multiple free areas. It's a gorgeous scene with the huge mountains, and lighthouse at the other end. It is definitely more of a touristy feel, as we went in August. Definitely explore up and down the peninsula, as there's excellent beaches and coves to swim at as well!Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0
Giardini-Naxos and the surrounding towns are, however,...
Giardini-Naxos and the surrounding towns are, however, unusually dirty, with a lot of litter scattered along the streets. The beach, on the other hand, has wonderfully clean and clear water. People are helpful. Traveling around, take time. The only rush is in traffic. If you travel by rental car, it helps to have a good map reader in the passenger seat and a calm mind. Honking is simply a part of the traffic culture. A motorcyclist may pass you on either the right or the left. Focus on the traffic is the most important thing. When choosing a rental car, you should go for one with medium power. Otherwise, it may not make it up the hills. We had a Toyota Yaris 1500 Petrol Hybrid Automatic. It was ok. An automatic gearbox makes driving easier.Guest review byMarikaEstonia - 10.0

You can rent bikes, electric ones if it's too hot. They are available at several locations. The prices are reasonable and you can travel the entire island. The water is clean and it is worth stopping here for a day.Guest review byVesnaSlovenia
