- From $492.56 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.4Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 554 reviewsWe came for a relaxing girls’ getaway, and this place felt like stepping into another world — yet it’s just 20 minutes from Cascais. The property is stunning: a majestic building with vast grounds, yet it only has a few rooms, making it feel like an intimate boutique hotel. You feel like you’re staying in a historic, well-kept quinta. Total privacy, incredible nature, peacocks strolling around, birds singing everywhere. The staff were very kind and welcoming. We walked everywhere in Sintra — the location is perfect, very close to the center. And the breakfast was amazing — served personally, exactly how you want it.Guest review byAnnaPortugal
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Excellent - What previous guests thought, 3,821 reviewsThe most amazing spot ever, from the view to the big cozy room everything was perfection. The staff are incredibly kind, delicious food in the restaurant, everything is in perfect order and clean. The rooms are very big, comfortable bed with incredibly fine pillows, amazing shower and the balcony has the most incredible picturesque views. Don't skip the bar and the restaurant, the food was much nicer than the restaurants around. The beach has perfect sand, very safe coast for swimming and plenty of surfers to watch. We loved everything about the place!Guest review byTatjanaNorth Macedonia
- From $105.55 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.6Good - What previous guests thought, 551 reviewsSomeone was waiting for us to pick up the keys even though we got in after 9 pm. The facility was very quiet which was relaxing. The pool was beautiful although we never went into the water, and there was a view of the beach which was close. Close to all amenities. Staff were friendly, and someone was always around doing maintenance, or tidying the facility.Guest review byDeniseCanada

Sintra is a picturesque town in Portugal, nestled in the Sintra Mountains near Lisbon. Known for its romantic 19th-century architecture, lush forests, and misty hills, it's home to stunning landmarks like Pena Palace, Moorish Castle, and Quinta da Regaleira. A UNESCO World Heritage Site, Sintra blends natural beauty with rich cultural history. Its major beauty is nature all around. FabulousGuest review byKatherine ZacharioudakiGreece - 10.0
Good beaches and amenities within walking distance.
Good beaches and amenities within walking distance. Handy to Sintra, surrounding areas and Lisbon, particularly if you have a car, but public transport options were available too. Colares was relatively quiet compared to Sintra and it was great to escape the hustle and bustle. It a beautiful location, set amongst the tress and tends to be a little cooler than Lisbon, so was a very comfortable temperature, even in the height of summer.Guest review byStruanNew Zealand - 10.0

If you're traveling to Portugal, Sintra is a must-see destination. While the Pena Palace and other famous historical sites offer plenty to see, nearby Cape Roca and the coastline, accessible within 30 minutes, offer a truly captivating experience.Guest review by율South Korea - 10.0
This location was great.
This location was great. You can choose to stay in the town and enjoy the beach, restaurants, etc or venture to other nearby attractions like Praia Grande & Arribas Saltwater Pool, Azenhas do Mar pool, or take the trolly (or drive) to Sintra and other towns in the area. My young kids and I enjoyed going to the beach around sunset/low tide to walk the beach, enjoy the small pools of water, etc.Guest review byCatCaul89United States - 10.0
Sintra is a beautiful, almost magical, place.
Sintra is a beautiful, almost magical, place. Get your walking legs on as there are many hills, but everywhere in the town and the hills is beautiful. Castles, ruins, gardens, the sculpture gallery, good food. Sintra is well-served by a very central railway station with frequent trains between there and Lisbon.Guest review byJulieAustralia
