Nothing, heater was burned out, moved to a room where the tv was broken and left. Poor property, terrible experience

The staff were incredibly kind and accommodating .
Nestled at the tip of the scenic Tiburon Peninsula around the cove from Sausalito, on the San Francisco Bay, The Lodge at Tiburon, a 3-story California Craftsman style upscale lodge is set on 3 acres,...

Perfect location and a beautiful hotel! Walking distance to the city center and pier, nice decor, close to restaurants, supermarket and drugstore.
It's a pity we couldn't use the swimming pool (it was already cold/windy outside), but it looked welcoming. We got a small upgrade and ended up with a room with balcony, facing the hills. Such an amazing view!
Easy to park. Breakfast was not included, but it wasn't a problem for us; there was complimentary coffee and tee, as well as some Californian wines at 5pm, with some live jazz from the tavern next door.
Really great experience.
Located on 5 acres, this Corte Madera hotel serves a deluxe breakfast buffet and offers a seasonal outdoor pool, putting green and rooms with flat-screen TVs. The Golden Gate Bridge is 9 miles away.

All the activities for families and the kind and helpful staff.
Calm city. Safe city. Lots of options to eat and to do groceries.
We went there to visit San Francisco. We've chosen Mill Valley and Sausalito to park our car and take public transportation to San Francisco.
Best decision ever. Car remained intact. No one crashed our window and we were happy.

The unit is great for a couple, but not for more than two...
The unit is great for a couple, but not for more than two assuming the two sleep in the same bed. Otherwise a very nice place. The driveway up to the unit is very steep and could be a challenge for some people.
We went there to visit our daughter who has a small apartment and a new baby, but the area is a great place to visit in general. Mill Valley can be navigated, but road network is tricky and sometimes difficult--be sure you have a GPS with guidance if you don't know the area!

See my review.
See my review. Property is dangerous unless approached in the daytime as there was zero lighting illuminating the door to the unit or the side yard. Pitch black. Floor drops 3-4" as you step from door sil into unit. What if Mom or Grandma went in first. They would have lawsuit to deal with broken foot, leg or worse.
NO RESPOSE UNTIL TRIED THIRD PHONE NUMBER. NICE, NICE REP WHO "GOT IT". GROSS UNIT AND GROSS FILTHY OLD BEATER CAR IN DRIVEWAY OR SUPER HIGH END NEIGHBORHOOD. CREEPY!
MY PLANNED TRIP WAS RUINED AS IT WAS TOO GROSS TO STAY IN THE ICKY, STINKEY UNIT. I WAS HIGHLY INCONVENIENCED AND WILL NEVER USE BOOKING.COM AGAIN. VERY SAD SITUATION WITH THAT UNIT. MAYBE LITTLE KIDS WOULD HAVE FUN BUT AN ADULT WHO HAS STAYED IN NICE HOTELS IN THE WORLD WOULD BE THOROUGHLY DISGUSTED WITH IT. AGAIN, BOOK A HOTEL AND DRIVE UP THERE TO ENJOY THE VIEW OR HIKE AREA.

Pictures on wed site are deceiving.
Pictures on wed site are deceiving. You can’t put lipstick on a pig and call it good. Broken doors, faucets not attached, dirty in the corners. Our first room reeks of pee. Broken down cars that have been there for years? We didn’t get bed bugs - that’s the only plus.

Hello.
Hello. We were surprised, shocked, really, that a woman with Covid was staying in a room next door at the Muir Lodge!!! The receptionist gave us NO indication or warning of the situation, as we would have been more cautious. We did not feel protected or secure. The motel should have taken better care of their other guests by at least informing them of a possible contamination. The reception simply wanted to hide this situation and was not forthright/honest, and put us all at risk.

Convenient drive to Muir Woods and to the Golden Gate Bridge...
Convenient drive to Muir Woods and to the Golden Gate Bridge park area for a great view of the bridge. Cute small town with a few good options for meals, coffee, etc. but other than that not much of interest directly in Mill Valley.
I don't know what else anyone could want in an affordable hotel for a 2-night stay. Room was clean and quiet, staff helpful and friendly, location perfect to reach all the activities in the area. The Holiday Inn Express is surrounded by hiking and biking trails and is close to John Muir Woods. It is a few miles from the Golden Gate Bridge and a quick trip to San Francisco.
The room was clean. The bedding was of the right quality, as were the products in the bathroom (soap, shampoo).
The receptionist put us in a room facing the back, which was quite quiet. The hotel goes to great lengths to make its surroundings welcoming, with real flowers all around and freshly redo bedroom.
View and location are perfect. In the middle of thousands trails! 1 hr hike to the east Tamalpais Peak.
Hotel person is very friendly. Even waited for us when we arrived late. The atmosphere is so relaxing! Wood everywhere, fire place, warm common areas, and lot of balconies with VIEW to Bay and ocean.
Wonderful view. Great location between Sausalito, Mill Valley and Tiburon with easy access to bike and running path. Brought our bicycles and explored area without having to deal with traffic. Unique experience watching how the daily tides come in and out in the area. Perfect for a couple getaway.
This hotel is perfect for us because it’s near the highway and it’s always predictable. What I mean by that is the price is always reasonable, the rooms are always clean, and the staff is always there to help you out if you need anything at all.
Lovely setting overlooking redwood trees. Room was spacious and very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious with a wide array of healthy food options! The location in Mill Valley was perfect homebase to explore, hike, and enjoy Marin.
The staff and welcome were exceptional. The continental breakfast was the best I ever had. The town just feels tucked away from the world and the inn is just nestled in and quite cozy. The room was spacious and bed was very comfortable.
I remember staying at the hotel the first time many years ago when it first opened. Everything felt new, cool and trendy. Now it is lovely but feels a bit tired like it needs a refresh. Love the breakfast, breakfast room and deck area.
The location is good if you have a car. We travelled by bike and it was fine as well. But if you’re on foot, it would be inconvenient. Though it’s cheaper than other hotels in the area. And the room we had was decent.
The location of the hotel was great for the activities we planned to do. I liked that it wasn't a big hotel because the pool and breakfast area wasn't over crowded.
We fell in love with this place, the view from our room, the food, the mood. It doesn’t feel like a contemporary hotel and that’s precisely what we loved about it.
easy to get to downtown Sausalito, Muir Wood and surrounding area. plenty of parking. small but functional bathroom. massive bed. friendly and helpful staff.
