The room was very luxurious with walk in bathroom, shower and tub. Room had a foyer which added to the luxury. Beautiful view from window of the river and ocean. The hotel is within walking distance to just about everything desirable in San Sebastian. The museum was 2 blocks away. Just above the museum is a beautiful park with extensive walking trails. Also a beautiful walking promenade to La Concha Beach, etc. Bring walking shoes! You really do not need cab service there if you are capable.
Recommend you book any desirable restaurants in advance of your arrival. The concierge was very helpful, but advance booking is required during high season especially for any Michelin rated restaurants. The concierge gave excellent advice and is able to get you transportation if you visit neighboring villages. I highly recommend going to Getaria for wine tour and a visit to the Balenciaga Museum.
The breakfast at the hotel is extensive and excellent. I highly recommend you include that in the room cost.

The place it’s self was lovely, lots of beautiful architecture and great views. Lots to do, we attended the aquarium and the beach. Plenty of places to eat, even if you’re with a picky eater. Easy to navigate with Google maps and definitely avoid the guesthouse I stayed at.

A very busy town with lots of tourists would not like to be there in the summer. The museum was a quiet and a good space to roam and keep cool. We ate the pintxos of course and loved the way you can just arrive eat and drink at almost all times of the day catering to all types of diets.

The best city break for food & drink lovers.
The best city break for food & drink lovers. Had particularly great culinary experiences in Sirimiri and Kapadokia. Surfed with Bera Bera Surf school on the sea front. Other than surfing and exploring the headland we never really left the old town as there was so much to enjoy there. Bring your sun glasses and your rain jacket!

The 'pintxos crawl' during each afternoon around the Old Town bars was great fun and delicious food.
Great views of the bay from the promenade and the top of Monte Igueldo.
The 40 minute catamaran boat trip around the bay is recommended.
We ate out at a traditional sidreria ( Basque Cider House) one night - set menu and unlimited cider!
Great location, overlooking one of San Sebastián's beaches ( the one good for surfing) Few minutes walk from the vibrant old town. Reception staff were all very welcoming and helpful, recommending good places to eat. We went on the open air bus tour, as well as the little tourist train- both were good value for money and gave us useful information about the history of San Sebastián and helped us to get our bearings around the town. The start of the bus tour was right near the hotel.
Large modern hotel, easy to find by car and park. Room was quiet well soundproofed from the traffic, although the morning of my stay there was a noisy vehicle repairing drains on the far side of the square. Nice to have a full bath.
Lovely walk along the promenade into the centre. In retrospect it seems the nicer restaurants are in the area of the hotel, whereas those in the centre and old town are all bodegas or tavernas purveying tapas and pintxos.
Sercotel Codine is a hotel we have stayed in numerous times when we have visited San Sebastian, so this visit was no different. The hotel has a good location with bars and restaurants nearby and also close to the beach. The staff are always very friendly and helpful and I am sure we will be back in the future. It is easy to get to the old town either by a 15-20min or or take the bus which stops right outside the hotel.
Loooved this cute hotel!! It is in excelente condition very clean and pretty!! The location is perfect because you are not in the hustle and bustle of town, but town is super close!! I really felt like I was at a chalet in the mountains and it felt like being in a family house! Would recommend to everyone visiting San Sebastián! Nora at the front desk took her time to recommend places to see!! Can’t wait to go back!
The location near the beach and the old quartier, the agreeable staffs, the clean and confortable room and free charge for a dog are all excellent !
The tariff is reasonable and it includes breakfast.
We were very satisfied with this hotel.
We have stayed twice.
We like Spain very much. If we go there, we'll stay again.
I recommend this hotel.
A good stopover hotel for one night offering free off-road private parking and a walkable location to the centre, old town and beaches of San Sebastian.
Reception staff were kind enough to change our room from the ground floor next to a busy reception area with lots of guest traffic to one on the first floor.
Wonderful hotel! Location is perfect next to all the cute stores, famous La Concha Beach and Cathedral.
Wow the staff is Amazing!!! Thank you Miriam for all the help. Rooms are chic and modern with so many cute plus! Its a must stay in San Sebastian specially for families. Love love love it!
We have stayed at this hotel once before and liked the room and services and personnel. We did not have the hotel breakfast but could see it was plentiful. Hotel is one street from the famous beach in San Sebastian-wonderful and close to the old town about 5 mins walking.
Beautiful small chick boutique hotel. Very elegant and classy. Excellent gym. Very clean and upscale. Very quiet and peaceful. Slightly away from the beaches, but still the walking distance is manageable. 20 minutes to wall, to old town. Very good, breakfast.
Really well located boutique hotel located in the heart of the old town. A couple of minutes walk from the taxi rank - no issues walking to the hotel. Room was lovely and nicely decorated. We had a balcony lookiing out onto the church which was beautiful.
The location is great, right in the old town. We had a hire car and it was quite tricky to get to the hotel, but the instructions they sent made it much easier. The staff were very helpful and we had a great 2 might stay.
The rooms were comfortable and breakfast was excellent. We had an issue in our first room and they quickly rectified the situation- definitely some of the better customer service we encountered in Spain.
Great location - close to the old town and the beach. Lovely hotel bar for drinks and tapas with friendly service. Very comfy room and a quiet nights sleep. Would definitely return.
The hotel is very well located in San Sebastián within easy walking distance of the old town and the beach. It is also close to the river for some lovely walks.
the hotel is perfectly located, right on the beach and in the old section of San Sebastián. it’s also a beautiful, modern property that’s a delight to stay in
It’s our fifth time to San Sebastián and second time to this hotel. Rooms are new and very very nice. When we come again to San Sebastián we go to Gorka.
