I think the most disappointing thing about tourist cities is that they take full advantage of visitors. They also need to clean up the homeless people. Even though Paula deen's restaurant is extremely high I think it is still the best value for restaurants.

Loved the museums, hop on hop off trolley was very informative, the squares were wonderful and the statues. Refreshing to see a town that treasures it's history and doesn't try to dismantle it.. go to Clarys, but avoid the well known names. Best restaurant was small Mexican place. Regretfully didn't make note of name. The free DOT bus was great for getting to waterfront area

Savannah is a great place to visit.
Savannah is a great place to visit. It has historic charm along with friendly people. There are restaurants and shops wherever you decide to stay. We especially like the Riverboat cruise, we have been before but wanted to take our 90-year-old Mom. She truly enjoyed it. We have been on the tour trolly, we love to hear what made Savannah. We also come to be with family.

Lovely, charming city with lots of history.
Lovely, charming city with lots of history. Stay downtown to get the most out of the sightseeing.
Recommend: Savannah Coffee Roasters cafe, Gryphon Tea Room, Fiddler's oyster bar on River St., must try Leopold's ice cream.
Very easy to walk around town, do try their dot connect free shuttle, Forsyth loop.
Must see Forsyth Park, enjoy the many squares.
Parking at Whitaker St. Park garage was very reasonable for downtown Savannah, it was $20/night. The central location to downtown Savannah historic district, we were in the middle of it. The room was spacious, with high ceilings, and there was an abundance of natural light. The staff were extremely friendly and they made us feel very welcome. The hotel provided vouchers for our breakfast and also vouchers for drinks at the bar, so basically, eating and drinking was on the house.
the hotel is very nice, trendy, comfortable.
amenities are excellent, great terrasse and swimming pool as well
staff is very nice
rooms ate comfortable and large space, with everything that we need
location is nice, even if it’s not in town, it is very easy to access the restaurants and downtown Savannah in walking distance along the river, it’s a great promenade at night!
several restaurants and bars, music, rooftop.. everything available for everyone
Great old house just off the beaten path of the touristy downtown Savannah. None of the frills and all of the charm. Big, high ceilings, super comfy beds. If you are expecting polish and room service look elsewhere. This place oozes character and a bit of dust. I would definitely stay here again. And I am not one to share a bathroom--this place has two and they are kept clean. A real bargain.
Very good location from the downtown historic district, close to a trolley stop (2 minute walk) room was nice and modern. Not your cheap hotel room with carpet from who knows what year and smells funny. It has nice wood laminate floor, bathroom was very nice and well lit. This was our first time in Savannah and will 100% return and stay at the Cambria.
We loved everything about this hotel. The room exceeded our expectations, it was very spacious with high ceilings. The beds were comfy and all was perfect. The location is great - very close to the Riverwalk and the historical downtown. We felt very safe in the neighbourhood. The shuttle from the hotel was also a wonderful way of reaching the downtown.
The room was clean, no rugs which it's a plus. The location was very quiet and peaceful. Excellent location, near I-95. There are good restaurants around the hotel area. There is a Walmart, Kroger, other restaurants and stores that are located about 5-10 minutes away and downtown Savannah is about 20 minutes from the hotel. Overall we recommend!
The breakfast was top. Everything was clean and pleasant, just perfect. However, the price is also correspondingly high. We were lucky and got a special offer, but otherwise it is not so cheap. But the hotel is worth it.
Very close to Savannah's historic district, which is wonderful to explore on foot from the hotel.
Overall the hotel was awesome, it was perfect for my friend and me and it was only an 8-minute drive from downtown Savannah so that was amazing. All of the staff was amazing and nice. It's also right next to a Food Lion so we were able to get anything that was needed there.
Probably our favorite parts of staying at this hotel , Kimpton Brice, were:
1. The courtyard (secret garden)
2. that it is pet friendly
3. friendly and helpful staff
4. the restaurant in the hotel
5. great location in Savannah with nearby sites and restaurants
We usually stay here when we visit Savannah Historic District, and we have not been dissatisfied yet. The breakfast was the best we’ve had so far on our vacation, at any hotel, the staff polite and courteous. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you
Was quiet, bed was comfy, was clean, office backed on to a perkins restaurant, lots of fsst food near by. Downtown savannah was about 30- 45 min away depending on traffic. Owner is an artist so has made sculptures out of old junk very cool.
Beautifully renovated property evoking the height of Savannah’s prosperous past.
Quiet location, conveniently located for Forsyth Park and 20 minutes walk from Downtown.
Michael was a very welcoming host.
Delicious breakfast.
Perfectly situated in the heart of the historic district. Easy walking distance to the riverfront and local restaurants, bars etc.
Love Savannah and would definitely try to stay at this property in the future.
The hotel is very new and well taken care of. Really good breakfast and location!
20 minutes and you are in downtown Savannah!
Also good restaurants around within walking distance.
Location. Easy drive to downtown Savannah. Enjoyed the old architecture inside hotel. The older looking lights were cool. Metal work on the rails was ornate and enjoyed
Very good location downtown, close to everything. Very nice and big room in an old and classic hotel. Lot of charm. people’s were very helpful when needed.
