Lots to see and do. The architecture is stunning, a great variety of shops but be prepared to walk a lot. Eating in the square was enjoyable, apparently food in La Ramblas is not good. Lots of coffee shops)bakeries. Sagrada Familia, Barcelona cathedral and Park Guell are must sees and a mountain trio to Montserrat if you have the time. Barcelona is a vibrant city, full of life and positive vibe. It is very pet friendly and family friendly. It is quite hot so if you hate the heat go in the winter months. There's no Ubers like other cities so get readyt o catch a Taxi wherever you go. The Metro is easy to access. Catalonians are not friendliest of people but they are not mean and if they like you,you have a friend forever. The city is overrun by tourists and the locals are hostile to tourists now (I don't blame them). The attractions like Park Guell are packed with people.
